Just starting out, but I have been recording for a couple of weeks, so if I type the info out here, it makes it more real!

I have some weird numbers. I was actually @ 219.6 on November 29th, and really in a funk. It was ToM and just after Thanksgiving (which I made and had to taste EVERYTHING!!! YUMMY!!!) Weighed in today at the 214.8 and feel much better already. So I'm going to use it as a benchmark. I feel the 208 seems like an OK goal, but would be happy with seeing 210 again, especially since ToM will be showing again at that point!
I had actually gotten as low as 197 in March, but need to work my way back.

I wonder how much is water weight and how much is from eating on Thursday. I did a pretty intense work out yesterday, it was the only thing to help me feel better and more hungry. I didn't over shoot my cals yesterday and plan to keep it under wraps today too.
I do feel better after that intense workout because I felt sick most of yesterday but felt hungry after spending just over an hour at the gym
Too much sugar after not having it in a long time. I don't plan to do that until next holiday. I can focus on losing weight after the new year I think.... But in the mean time. damage control0 -

Notes: Totally thought about not posting my stats today... My goals for last week were make "good food choices and workout at least 4x next week." Met the workout goal, but could have definitely eaten better. Yesterday I went out to eat. Twice. In one day. I had 3 social events were alcohol was served this week and had one glass of wine at each. Not bad, but could have been better. I think today's uptick on the scale was probably due to overeating yesterday. I'll try to be good this coming week and see how my weight in goes on the 20th. Goals for this week: Workout 4x. Two glasses of wine total for the week. Limit office Xmas snacks!! (this will be hard!)

My struggles are trying to drink enough water and work out! I just cannot seem to get the motivation to go to the gym! Even when I do go I don't push myself0 -
I propose a new challenge for this month. Damage control. If you don't gain any weight from the beginning of the month or even lose some then everyone would be doing well Who is with me?0

It is starting to get harder to resist cookies, chocolate, holiday stuff. So far so good!0

I like the idea. I know the holidays can be hard but we can stick to our goals or adjust to sticking with with what we know we can do.
I have 5 days till I take my maintenance break. I will keep moving forward and hope I don't gain much water weight over that break. I am in no race. If anyone else is struggling just remember to do what you can. Taking a small break doesn't mean you have given up it just means you will do everything you can to keep going. One high cal day or meal will not end your progress if you get right back on track. Stay on course even if you sway here or there.

It's getting hard to resist everything, that's why I plan to visit the gym a couple of times this week, if not three to four to have some intense workouts.
I dropped three pounds (of waste. Yes it was waste and excess water weight) yesterday just in time for the Church dinner. Now I'm sitting back at 287 this morning. I know if I have some intense workouts over the next couple of days will definately help keep things from sliding. I can pick up my regular routine inbetween and after the holidays are done.0 -
