Would anyone like to join me for a "Just for Today" goals for the month of January

What a great idea! Just for today I am not going to have wine with dinner. And I am on my way to the gym.0

01/04 Just for today:
1. log every thing I eat
2. up meditation to 5 minutes
3. get 8 glasses of water in
4. remind myself that my weight is not my self worth. i deserve to dress cute and put on make up as much as the size 8s do; and i feel better when i do0 -

- now that breakfast, where I ate too much, is over, stop eating before I am full for the rest of the day, no more cashews, and no more bars.

Just for today I will get done the house cleaning tasks that I have set for myself. Doing those things gets me off the couch and burning at least a few calories!0

Splurged a little today went to panda express and had orange chicken ànd fried rice thought I was doing good until I documented the fried rice and saw how much sodium was in it ugh!!:( start back to work tomorrow after my surgery so got me some fruit and green tea to take with as I usually don't have time for lunch as I am usually putting out some little drama (middle schoolers). My three goals for tomorrow are:
1. Keep up with my documenting of my food exercise and bp.
2. Take time to go out and walk the track at least 2 times that will be half a mile.
3. Talk to principal about starting a health/weight group at our school. (Talked today to several friends today at church about starting a group there - all seemed very receptive to the idea).0 -
Just for today I will: 1/4/15
3. Exercise in some way - even if by putting away most of the Christmas stuff. (Plantar Fasciitis and heel spurs are making exercise painful - so I've avoided it.)

I really feel for you. My hubby had plantar fasciitis -- not fun at all. Take good care of yourself. Maybe there are some chair exercises, or arm exercises you can do?
Look up on YouTube for some chair exercise that you can at least get some cardiovascular and stretching movements0 -

Met my calorie goal,drank more water,no exercise on Sunday . I have been reading some encouragement every day. Thanks for that,sounds like we are off to a good start.0

Jan. 4th
I will drink more water, at least 6 glasses but will aim for 8. (got in maybe 6)
I will exercise at least 30 min. today (did 67 )
I will stay within my calories (done) but over on the sugar,need to work on that.0 -

Log all my food
I will jog for 10 mins on treadmill whilst I do my usual work

1. 30 day shred - Day 4 (instead of doing day 4 - I did 20 mins of my gazelle)
2. No eating after 7 - only fruit
3. Remember my protein drink
4. Drink hot tea with lemon

1.Get more consistent with EARLIER runs
2. 30 day shred - Day 4
3. Get healthy snacks - 90 calorie bars OR make black bean brownies
4. Make time for myself - 8:30 - crochet

1) Eating smaller portions of low carb, high protein, fiber food.
2) Staying active , avoiding the couch.
3) 30 minute walk
4) going through success stories in MFP for motivation
5) log my food.
6) ginger, lemon, honey tea.

I pretty much broke all of the Just for todays, yesterday. But moving forward and not looking back. "Failure is not fatal, it is the courage to continue that counts." -unknown. Just for today I will bring my lunch to work, log in all that I eat, walk on my treadmill for 30 or more mins, treat myself to a long evening shower and early bedtime.

Well, I weighed myself this morning, reset my weight. Yikes, How can weight go on so quickly! But I know what to do -- watch my sugar intake. So I added another thing for today
JUST FOR TODAY, January 1st, 2015
1. DO a minimun of 20 minutes of exercise, whether it be ellipitical, walking, or anything!
2. Focus on 8 glasses of water
3. Log everything I eat!
4. Keep my sugar grams within MFP guidelines

2. Small popcorn, if any at the movies. no popcorn, bought our own snacks.

Yesterday, 1/4/15
1. DRINK WATER! This is my hardest thing to do , but I know it really helps. Much better yesterday, but I still need to be drinking more water, especially in the evening!
2. Log EVERYBITE I eat Yes, sadly even the M&M candies and chex party mix. But, being accountable!
3. 20 minutes on the ellipitical And this was in a 30 degree COLD room! But, got it done!
Just for today, 1/5/15
1. Log every bite I eat!
2. DRINK MORE WATER
3. 20 minutes minimum on ellipitical DONE! And this is in a patio room where the temps this morning was 23.6 degrees!! Better than outside though, where temps are 14 degrees!
4. Chew gum in the evening instead of grabbing some snack
