1/1 - 1/7: My sodium intake has been WAY higher than it needs to be. I have been attempting to drink at least 90 ozs of water a day, but if I can't keep my sodium in check, it is not going to make a difference. Here is to a better week! One of my newest MFP friends wrote a quote for me that I really like! "A setback is a set up for a comeback".

I love entering in my food/exercise log because it really helps me put things into perspective. I hope to gain some friends on here to help each other stay motivated.

This will be difficult, as I am traveling abroad this month, but I need some sort of kick in the *****. Too too too long off the wagon.

Struggles or successes of your week: I'm struggling hard with will power. It's difficult to come home after a long day and contain my boredom appetite. I eat well for breakfast and lunch, then fail hard after dinner. I keep trying to drink more water or distract myself and it doesn't work. :/

Also, this thread is so massive, it's hard to navigate and hunt down my last post.

Struggles or successes of your week: I hit 153 a couple times this week. I'm a daily weigher. But decided not to log it until I see it stay. So today I'm 154.1. I've lost another inch off my hips or love handles?? I don't really know what it's called but I'm measuring it because I want it gone! Lol.

Struggles or successes of your week: Well, I'm going in the wrong direction, aren't I?

However, last week I felt like my weight measured usually low anyways. I've been having a hard time staying under my calories this week, even though I have been exercising. I only go over by less than 100 calories (bringing me to a whopping 1400), but I'm trying to be patient with myself and keep working to make good choices.

Struggles or successes of your week: I had to get on the scale 3 times this morning to make sure that it was correct. Apparently it is and I'm officially back down to my pre-pregnancy weight! That's a huge SUCCESS for me! 20 more pounds to go. I've been diligent about eating well and exercising.

Struggles or successes of your week: I've been able to ft in exercise most of the week. I've been walking a fast mile at work during lunch (luckily I'm able to do this indoors), supplemented with a wokout DVD at home most evenings (either cardio or weights), so I'm pretty happy with my progress.

Struggles or successes of your week:
I made 2 major changes, which I've very proud of!
    1. Avoiding all added sugar and white products (white flour, white rice, white potatoes), I actually haven't eaten any fruit either this week either, just for now while I'm trying to get my sweet tooth under control.
    2. Being very diligent about going to the gym. I never last on low calorie diets, but with my hard workouts--- spinning 1-2 times a day-- I'm able to eat! While avoiding processed foods and sugar and white flour, I get intense carb cravings which I satisfy by binging on fiber one cereal and almond butter. Yes, healthy options, but I seriously overdo it. Need to work on that. Been much better about binging, but it gets really hard in the late afternoon, and then again at night.
I'm really happy that I've been able to stick to this lifestyle change for a full week--- that's long compared to my history! 4.3 lb in a week is fine by me. Although, I did GAIN 10 lb in about a week, so this isn't AS great at it looks.
Keep up the good work, all!
