Hello all! I'm late to the party but count me in! With half of the month gone, my goal for January is modest but I will increase it next month. I hope this ticker thing works. Here goes..............

Love tapering, not quite as sold on the 26.2 I'm doing Sunday.
    What race are you running?

Clearwater distance classic Sunday (just doing the full, not the ultra 50k). Weather is looking promising, so hoping I'll crack the 3:45 mark. Series (full/half/5 mile/5k walk) has 1700 participants, but suspect only about 800 of us are doing the full.

Had to go out of town unexpectedly for a family emergency, but I managed one run during my time there. There's a lake in a beautiful park in my hometown, so I drove down and ran there. Had the whole place to myself in the morning...just me and the ducks, swans and geese.
