Hello!
Just for today I will recognize that my body is calling out for rest! I will honor this by having an active rest day of gentle yoga and 30 min on the elliptical!0 -
I will also celebrate my non-scale goals of being more mindful of how my body feels when I feed it well and getting into plow pose for the the first time last night! Go mE0

Well, this morning I grabbed a pair of jeans from my closet, and they were tight! At first I was so bummed, thinking, man, I am walking, watching what I am eating. Then I looked at the tag -- they were a size smaller than I normally wear. (Yes, I have 3 sizes of jeans in my closet!).

The scale did not move this morning. I should be upset (I've been so good recently) but really. it did not go up, so I am OK. And the sweatpants I pulled on for my walk are not hugging my thighs like they did last year, so I am getting somewhere.

2. Take a walk. Early so I do not forget
3. Drink 8 or more glasses of water
4. Stay calm and look for the positive,
It is so much easier to look at some of these goals one day at a time. I can do this for today, I do not need to worry about tomorrow yet.

1. Be thankful my gloom from yesterday passed and I did not let it make me go over my calories
2. Walk 10,000 steps +
3. Do not get take out just because it is Friday...I can do this

Yesterday, 1/22
1. Drink water!! I struggle so much with this. I know it makes me feel better when I am hydrated, and makes me eat less, so why is this so hard for me to do! Did better with this, but still not enough water.
2. Bundle up, and go out for another long walk tonite instead of snacking after dinner It was 34 degrees, but I got my 3 mile walk in!!!
3. Log everything I eat
4. DO not let the scale dictate my success
Just for today, 1/23
1. Today will be a busy day, so plan my food in advance.
2. Drink water, especially in the evening when I want to snack
3. Walk minimum 30 minutes, or get on my ellipitical
4. Log every bite that I eat!
5. Stay focused for long-term health

Big bump yesterday. I got into the cookies from the baking contest at work.
1. I will not let my set back yesterday, turn into a routine. Wipe myself up and start fresh.

4. do that dang meditation. gotta get back into that routine, it helps!
Today, my manager is taking us to lunch, so I need the strength to make smart choices. Fortunately my manager and working partner are both pretty healthy and don't eat a lot of crap, so hopefully there won't be much temptation.0 -

Long long day yesterday! I really really can't wait till we are actually driving back to Washington! Last night I received a phone call saying Triahs in pre labor but they're not close enough! It's extremely hard not being there with he, ugh! She has an appointment today so we should know more, Plus when I stepped on the scale I was up a pound! I'm positive it's because of stress! I just need to remember JUST FOR TOAY, FOCUS FOCUS!!!!!

My weight loss has hit a plateau for 5 days. Just for today I'm going to eat only what I have planned and drink my water. No dessert at the birthday party0

It is so much easier to look at some of these goals one day at a time. I can do this for today, I do not need to worry about tomorrow yet.
January 24 Just for today I will
1. write down everything I eat (no access to my log most of today, so this should at least keep me aware of my eating)
2. Take a walk. I may imitate you Joan and do this after dinner. When I work late, snacking after dinner is a problem for me.
3. Drink drink drink Try keeping a glass of water on my desk at work to remind myself.
4. Stay calm and enjoy the ride. It's going to be crazy at work for the next couple of weeks.

I thought I had posted here at least once this month. ;-/ Evidently not. ;-(

1. Pay attention to my activity tracker when it buzzes at me every hour and get up and do something for 5 minutes.
2. Get a half hour of moderate activity in. I'm visiting relatives so a full out workout isn't possible today.

Just for today January 24:
1.) I will do as much moving at work as I can before the two hour car trip to the show tonight.
2.) I will allow myself enough calories for dinner on the road tonight and NOT overindulge like I tend to. Eating because your nervous is not okay.
3.) I will stay hydrated and focused. I will help load and unload as much equipment as I can for my little bit of excersive (since I can't get a real work out in today) and stay away from the bar.

Forgot to do this for a couple of days--I've been sick. So...
1. Get at least 15,000 steps.
2. Do a full workout at the gym.
