Some diet truths to live by:
If you eat something fattening with something healthy of the same color, the second cancels the first; i.e. circus peanuts with carrots or a green frosted cupcake with broccoli or pepperoni pizza with an apple.
The calories have fallen out of broken cookies.
Anything eaten with diet pop has zero calories.
Anything eaten in a good cause has zero calories. Hello GS cookies.
Anything bought on sale after its special day has zero calories. Cadbury eggs after Easter, chocolate covered marshmallow hearts after Valentine's Day, kid size candy bars after Halloween. Negative calories if you're at WalMart at midnight ready to stock up as soon as the 50% off sign is posted.

I can eat as much as my husband, who is 100 pds heavier than me and 5 inches taller than me. When we get finished with dinner and he says he is full.... I think, I could go for a second plate. *sigh* still working on portion control1

I typically snort the easier stuff like powdered sugar or dextrose. But when I am desperate I have been known to reach the depths of snorting pixie stix. Once I even did some stevia. Never again.
I am not ashamed.
Then when you log your booogars, aren't you logging the cals twice?
Confession #2: I don't log my booger ingestion.
I'm sorry but I have to be honest here... I'm feeling a bit judgmental here on Confession #2.
Hey, don't knock it till you've tried it.0 -

This is amazing. I want to be you.

This is how I felt for years on here regarding Trader Joe's... then finally our area was on the list of Cities to get a TJ's next. I'd hear all the cool things ppl would find at Trader Joe's and the great prices, variety etc. Then it opened and I've loved going and meeting everyone that works there and all the fun things they sell. Haven't been to Aldi's yet and have hoped we'd get one of those.. we just did.
But you all have the good Cadbury Chocolate.. we have the American version..the bad Cadbury..fake stuff. lol0 -

I binge on things like peanuts, peanut butter, cashews, etc when I'm stressed. I'm gradually breaking the habit but it's hard, particularly because my job is stressful and my personal life is as well (for now anyway). Right now no jar of peanut butter is safe!0

If there are cookies or sweets left over at work, I have to spray them with a cleaner like Pledge before I throw them away because I WILL dig them out of the garbage later if I don't.2

Confession: I developed an allergy to peanuts about a year ago. Sometimes I fantasize about eating a snickers bar or a box of reese's pieces and taking a Benadryl immediately after, or even using my epi-pen if I get the bad reaction I've been warned is coming. I haven't done it for obvious reasons but I miss peanut butter so much. Chocolate dipped in wowbutter just isn't the same.0

I'm attracted to Kirstie Alley.2

I started this lifestyle change a few months back because of future picture! My husband is getting promoted to MSGT (Air Force) in April and I was not going to let my family see pics of me on Facebook. Now I am more motivated to stay healthy way past April:)0

I admit it. When people use loose, I judge hard.
Oh eff it. I'm judging away anyway, anyhow, anyday.0 -
I sometimes Fart and blame it on the dogs3

I don't feel like my workouts have any power until I get my headband on and if its a turbofire workout my gloves then I am a machine. Without them I am a wuss.1

I have hardly lost any weight since the holidays, it's been the same 5 on and off.0

BEST THREAD EVER...
So for me the lose/loose is right up there with fingernails dragged across a blackboard! I work out twice a day and wear the same workout kit for both sessions - then they go in the wash. I may have farted and blamed Max...he has odourless farts though so I don't get away with it. I like wine after a salty snack or cheese but never want a full glass so always slurp it straight from the bottle in the fridge and never log it...1 -
I often post on here, and always try to give people the best advice based on scientific evidence, what I know to be true, and what is reasonable and healthy.
I don't always follow this advice.1 -
Nothing to do with fitness, but I think of sex or porn. Way way too much. There now I admitted it.1
-
Dang Girl Scout cookies! I almost ate an entire box in one day.0
-
I went 2500 calories over my limit yesterday due to Superbowl. I had planned to eat "bad" anyway though. I just did not realize it was THAT bad when I logged it.0
-
I would rather have Wey Protein than fruit because it comes in chocolate flavour lol0
