    I did a 15k run today ( Pensacoa Double Bridge Run ). I came in 614th out of 2562 runners, and I set a new 10k PR. The weather was great and it's starting to look like my knees are finally getting back to normal. I'm faster now than I've ever been. If feels good to be on the upswing. Around this time last year I injured a knee and wasn't sure I'd be running again. What a difference a year makes!

    02/01/2015 - 9.03 Miles - Cumulative 9.03 Miles
    02/03/2015 - 4.20 Miles - Cumulative 13.23 Miles
    02/05/2015 - 4.22 Miles - Cumulative 17.45 Miles
    02/07/2015 - 9.37 Miles - Cumulative 26.82 Miles

    GOAL: 80 Miles
    ~~No ticker for this post. I have the info stored on my work PC and I'm posting this from home.

    I don't get to the beautiful views on my runs as some of you, but I guess I'll share a piece of my happiness :)

    Oh, the streak was an accident, but it was kinda cool while it lasted. I'd never streak in the middle of a training cycle :)

    I would love to join in this challenge, even though a little late. I'm also fairly new to this site.
    Yesterday I did 2.5 miles on the treadmill as i just started the C25K.
    My plan is a 9 week plan, so hopefully I can keep motivated to keep it up.
    So if i work out on the treadmill 5 days a week my miles by the end of the month should be around 30.
    So that will be my goal:)

    2/1 - 6 no running
    2/7 - 2.1 miles
    2/8 - 2.1 completely pain free miles - for the first time in forever

    4.2 miles out of 40

    Thank you all for your support and welcome back posts. I'm so glad I listened to my heart (and head) and went the PT route first instead of combining it with surgery. It'll be a slow road back to the mileage I was at, but I'll get back there. :heart:

    @Runningmischka‌ - she was just over a year old when she was adopted, so she doesn't remember any Russian. I wish they taught it somewhere near us, she would love to learn. She is very proud of her Russian heritage. I loved my time in Russia, amazing people.

    @SonicDeathMonkey80‌ - happy late birthday

    @SLHysell‌ - congrats on the 10K PR

    @Beaches1960‌ @rebeccawimert‌ - welcome we are a great group

    @fabnine - I'm woohooting too :smile: thanks for all your support my friend

    @SonicDeathMonkey80‌ : Wow, that's some climb in the beginning! Are those stairs or an uphill path?

    I totally mis-paced my long run today. Today was really great weather, 40F warm and sunny, and I enthusiastically took of way too fast. I noticed that at the halfway point, where I had to climb a set of stairs (~90 feet altitude in 0.3 miles), ended up walking more than half of those. The rest of the way home was real slow after that...
    It took me 33:30 for the first 5km; then 41:00 minutes for the next 5km. Guess next time I should check my pace a few times during the run!

    1.2.2015 - 9.0 km
    4.2.2015 - 3.8 km
    6.2.2015 - 5.2 km
    7.2.2015 - 3.6 km
    8.2.2015 - 11.4 km
    33 km (of 100 km) done
