This song is called Stand and it's by Rascal Flatts. This song, for me, is all about getting back up and doing something when you might think you can't or when you fail.

    "Stand" by Rascal Flatts

You feel like a candle in a hurricane
Just like a picture with a broken frame
    Alone and helpless
    Like you've lost your fight
But you'll be alright, you'll be alright

    [Chorus:]
Cause when push comes to shove
You taste what you're made of
You might bend, till you break
Cause its all you can take
On your knees you look up
    Decide you've had enough
You get mad you get strong
Wipe your hands shake it off
Then you Stand, Then you stand
    Life's like a novel
    With the end ripped out
    The edge of a canyon
    With only one way down
Take what you're given before its gone
Start holding on, keep holding on

Cause when push comes to shove
You taste what you're made of
You might bend till you break
Cause it's all you can take
On your knees you look up
    Decide you've had enough
You get mad, you get strong
Wipe your hands, shake it off
Then you stand, then you stand

    Everytime you get up
And get back in the race
One more small piece of you
    Starts to fall into place
    Oh

    [Repeat Chorus]

Exercise goal for the week--to move every day! A workout or walking or something. This is the hardest thing for me, I'm not sure why because I feel SO good when I do work out.

Just spent a week in Disney so didn't weigh in last week. Exercise goal - get out of bed for early AM spin class. Current motivation - wedding in 2 weeks - have a great dress that will look and feel better with a few more lbs gone!

    Great job Mike!

Wow .. 4 more weeks, I can't believe it. Time has gone by so fast. Great job on the losses, I'm a little disappointed at myself because I thought I was going to lose more than 1 lb but oh well there's always a next time right?

My exercise goal this week is to get into the gym at least 3 days. I was doing okay and then fell off the wagon. I trying soooo hard to pull myself back up on there!

"Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will." --Gandhi

This is an exciting week for me. :) I will graduate from college on Saturday (which is big enough on its own), but I am also probably in the best shape of my life and weigh less than I have since I graduated from high school five years ago. I'm so proud of these accomplishments! I just want to keep going...

It's going to be hard week because family is going to be in town, we will be going out to eat, and I will have limited amounts of time to exercise. So, my goals are to make smart choices and try to fit in some exercise when I can... And to plan for after they leave -- what exercise program will I do now that I've finished the 30DS, etc. My goal is also to enjoy myself and take time to celebrate my accomplishments. :)
  • I get so much energy from Usher - More (RedOne Jimmy Joker Remix) !!!! Lyrics are motivating, nice heavy dancebeat.. Love it!!

Watch me as I dance under the spotlight-
Listen to the people screaming out more and more,
'Coz I create the feeling that keep 'em coming back,
Yeah, I create the feeling that keep 'em coming back,
So captivating when I get it on the floor.

Know y'all been patiently waiting, I know you need me, I can feel it,
I'm a beast, I'm an animal, I'm that monster in the mirror,
The headliner, finisher, I'm the closer, winner.
Best when under pressure with second's left I show up.

    [CHORUS x2]
If you really want more, scream it out louder,
Get it on the floor, bring out the fire,
And light it up, take it up higher,
Gonna push it to the limit, give it more.

Get up both your hands, I'm in the zone, tight!
Put 'em in the air, if you want more (and) more,
Cos I can't wait to feel it.
    I go hard, can't stop,
But if I stop then just know that imma bring it back,
    Never quittin' on believin' that!!

Oh and my exercise goal: I just started building up my jogging schedule, so I at least want to jog 5 times this weak!

Keep up the good work y'all!

PS: by the way newmeat.. I saw you posted my weight on the chart in kilograms That's fine by me, but if you wanna post it in lbs --> SW: 170 lbs on 5/5/2011 and GW: 160 lbs

    great job everyone!
For those of you that seem to hit a plateau - I did too for around 4 weeks I was going crazy and about ready to give up but I kept at it and I was exercising EVERY day so I cute 2 workouts out and only worked out for 5 days that week I lost 2lbs :) so I don't work out every day any more and I have been losing 1lb a week for 6 weeks :) not much but its still a loss right :)
