            Once I cut (massive portions of everything) out of my diet, I lost weight. 
 Haven't cut out anything from my diet because I love food and drink, I just reduced my portions.0

            I've always been able to lose weight eating at a defecit, but I started losing weight easier when I cut out alcohol during the week. It's changed my habit of using whatever calories I have left on a drink when I am not really hungry at the end of the day. Saves me $ too. I still enjoy my drinks on weekends though :-)0

            Excess calories, already been said.
 I did cut out most wheat since January. That wasn't necessary, I was just eating too much of it. The only thing I have craved is pizza, so pizza is back and I'm still losing.0

 Oh and excess calories and chronic laziness0

            Diet soda. I'd drink Diet Pepsi day and night but after I swapped out for iced tea and water, I noticed I didn't have such strong cravings for carbs. Made it much easier to cut calories because I wasn't hungry all the time.0
