IN which case you won't lose weight, assuming your caloric intake remains at or above maintenance. Because CICO. Which I'm sure others already mentioned (this is what happens when you go to school and miss peak responding times)0 -

Drinking my calories. It's amazing how much they add up and I used to consume my calorie allowance in just beverages alone. Now I try to limit my daily beverage allowance to about 100 calories. Once I began counting calories I realized that most of my calories were going to insubstantial things like drinks and condiments. Just cutting those most days would've got me fairly close to my calorie goal without even paying attention to counting (But I do still count everything anyway).0

Heavily refined carbs mostly in the form of sugar. Simple.0

I didnt cut anything. I started intermittent fasting.0

Also, cutting out the idea that I "can't" have something, because I've categorized foods as "good" or "bad" has helped. ... I cut out the idea that I don't have time because I'm a full-time working wife and parent. I make the time...every day. :-D
so when are we going out drinking?
Any time, as long as when I say, "F*** it! I want that whole pizza NOW!" you stop me! lol

Once I cut FAD DIETS out of my life, then I really lost weight... and have kept it off!!
Who knew it was as simple as eating whatever I wanted while counting calories? The sufferings I would have avoided had I known sooner... :drinker:0 -
Empty Calories, mainly drinks. Lattes, beer, wine, Mixed Drinks esp with Soda, and Soda all together (even if it is 0 calories). I do let myself have a couple of drinks on the weekends, I deserve it.0

JUNK FOOD
OK not really...just thought this thread was getting boring with everyone saying the same thing0 -
Nothing is off limits, but I did stop eating cereal for breakfast and replaced it with meals that has more protein and less sugar.0

Amazing, if they're fresh. They kind of squeak a bit. Microwave them for about 10 seconds so they just start to soften up, but don't melt. It's like a perfect little bite of really good cheese. Not all hard and crumbly, but still tastes like good cheddar.0 -

Whenever I make goat cheese, curds form in the milk after I add the vinegar or lemon juice. When I strain the curds into the cheesecloth, they form a soft cheese similar to farmer's cheese. If you've ever had farmer's cheese, you kind of know what curds taste like--mild and slightly salty--although the solid cheese has had the whey drained from the curds and so is less moist. I really enjoy the flavor, particularly when the freshly-made cheese is still warm and a bit crumbly.
I definitely have NOT removed goat cheese from my diet to lose weight.

Caloric beverages. Have been mostly limiting my liquid intake to water, coffee (no sugar/cream) or tea for the last few years (except beer or wine once or twice a week) and it's made a significant difference.0

Refined and processed carbs!...except sometimes fries as a treat and also chips if they fit in for the day and I really really need something salty. Baked or mashed potato is acceptable as a side on the reg though.0
