I've always been able to lose weight eating at a defecit, but I started losing weight easier when I cut out alcohol during the week. It's changed my habit of using whatever calories I have left on a drink when I am not really hungry at the end of the day. Saves me $ too. I still enjoy my drinks on weekends though :-)
