holy moly the highest size i wore pre-baby was a 20 and now i'm almost in a 10.

I only lost 1 pound this week, but I actually find that pretty impressive considering I went a little crazy after the final weigh in for the competition at work and ate a bunch of those things I had been denying myself for the competition (chineese food mostly). I ended up taking 4th place overal with 15.1% weight loss in 12 weeks. I also lowered my cholesterol from 210 to 180. My prize was $282 in cash to spend as I please, plus $300 credit to spend only on excercise equipment. I bought a Garmin Forerunner 305 GPS heart rate monitor, a set of Jillian Michaels dumbells, and a pair of New Balance MR890 running shoes.

My weight has been coming off very slowly lately. I have stepped up my exercise for the last three weeks - running 4 to 5 miles a day 5 times a week and biking to work (about 50 min). I have been so hungry so I am eating 1500 to 1600 calories. Does anyone know why I am not losing weight? I don't think I can reduce my calories as I am hungry. I have been trying to increase protein. Any suggestions would be great.0

I have been running into the same issue. I think you will see the weight start to drop now that you have increased your calories. From what I read the body starts to get used to the calorie deficit and your metabolism slows down. Your body thinks it is starving so it holds on to the weigh. Do a search on calorie shifting or zig zagging.0 -

The good news is my weight is 185.2, I lost .6 pounds this week. The bad news is I missed my mini-goal by .4. I have to admit I'm a little disappointed. I thought I was doing everything right this week. Oh well, a loss is a loss.
There have been some amazing weight losses on this challenge. WAY TO GO EVERYONE!!! I hope we continue on with a new challenge once this is completed.
