I'm 34 years old and stand at 5'8''. I've had 5 kids so I've been up and down the scale a LOT. :)

    This last "go around":
    SW (delivery-Nov 2013): 203 lbs
    "Real" SW (7 weeks after birth-Jan 2014): 178 lbs
SW (got REALLY serious--logging and actually trying-Sept 2014): 173 lbs
GW (reached Dec 2014): 150 lbs
    Current weight: 159lbs
    Goal Weight: 150lbs

Since December I've put on a 9 lbs. Part of that is because I've uber carb loaded (stress and holidays and...(insert more excuses here)) and also because I've started teaching high intensity interval weight training classes again. I'm building muscle (need some extra calories for that) and am really loving that right now but, now that I've built some muscle, it's time to work on slimming my waist line again.

Honestly, I've had five kids. That takes a toll on ones body. I will never have my pre-children body back, even though my goal weight has been the same all my life. In some ways my post babies body is actually better looking that my pre-baby body because I've had to work hard for it. I'm far thinner and toned at 150 now that I was before kids but, some things will never be the same AND THAT IS OKAY!!!!!!!

My advise would be to aim for better HEALTH, better STRENGTH, and a better ATTITUDE and RELATIONSHIP with food.

    Good luck!

UGW: Whatever helps me run my best, it may be around a BMI of 18 which equals 111 lbs.
As an adult I have never been under 125 so I need to be very focused on diet, I feel.

Goal: Abs. They're not here yet but getting close! My goal is about toning and losing fat more than weight.

And I work out with a trainer, lift heavy, do cardio, and eat within my calories. I'm getting there just slowly.

I try to do exercise when I can but I have to work it around shifts. I like to walk and tend to go for long walks in the summer. I find that it helps me to have smaller goals that I want to get to then I will set myself a new goal when I reach it.

I've been trying to not focus on the scale number, I have a goal body not a goal weight! But when I was 169, my goal weight was 125, which now I would say is too light for me!

Just using MFP and being honest about logging was working before, I had a start of 198 and was down to 155 but I got incredibly lazy and stopped logging. And that was the worst move ever. So I'm going back to what I know works, and this time, I'm not going to let it go.

Used MFP for like a year and a half and was successful (lost 35 lbs). Took a year and a half off and gained 12 lbs. Now I'm back at it.

Best advice I have is to get active, don't quit, don't lie or cheat, and eat better.

I would like to drop 10 more pounds but I also want to start building muscle so I'm facing a bit of a dilemma. I work out 5 days a week and stay under 1300 calories. I MUST also take my metformin for my PCSO...tried to go off it for a little bit and the weight started coming back on even though nothing in my diet or exercise changed.

    Congratulations
What a great accomplishment. High five to you.

    20 years old, 5'6.

    SW: 160
CW: 152 (last time I weighed myself was a while ago though)
    GW: 125ish

I'm not super set on that particular number, though. I might end up wanting to be a little bit bigger or smaller than that.
