    well dancing didn't happen yesterday because I went for three walks yesterday, one with my husband so I walked faster than I usually do. Just for today I will log my food (especially dinner) and I will get to water and back in half an hour even if that means no actual time by the water.

    @bri170lb: That was a great Apr. 1 list!!! :)
    @OConnell5483: I really hope your injury is healing well, and that there are no other complications. AND, that as you feel more and more back to yourself, that you can keep going forward with your goals! :)
    @aerochic42: The dancing sounds great! I tend to like dance things too, like zumba. Even though you couldn't do your fave thing yest., good for you with all the walking!! :)
    @ruby70: I actually read somewhere that hula hooping is excellent for melting belly fat! Have fun!! :)
    @rhonderoo: Stick with it and keep logging in here! Folks are friendly and we all want each other to succeed!! I'm on my last 15 out of 45, and it is a bit tougher. Go, Rhonda, go!! :)

    So, Hm, yesterday. Water: fine Relaxing: fine--got a great amount of stuff done calmly and fairly peaceful. :)
    Ate more than alloted cals (which for me was still under 1000, BTW) coz I had 1/3 B & J's (this is usually my frustration go-to). However, instead of it being a total emotional reaction eating fit, I decided after thinking that, yes I still wanted a bit but would exercise extra. So, I ate my exercise cals, but I DID exercise to compensate--even up til 11:00 p.m. when I really wanted to go to bed instead. Obviously, if I cheat, I only cheat myself. But what I am excited about is that I feel like my thought processes about food are changing little by little. Minus a few temporary set backs, I feel myself being more logical about food--thinking about the consequences of out of control choices, etc. i.e., I didn't eat the whole bucket--My children ate the rest! :) There is a difference between times when I overeat and say, "Oh, what's the point in trying. I'm such a failure." vs me thinking: "Hm, I'm doing pretty well. I'd like a reasonable treat. And I am still motivated to do well the rest of the day/tomorrow". Last week was NOT good mentally/emotionally--almost gave up again. But this week has been good. At some point my weight will be off and I will have to adjust to "normal eating" whatever that will be for me...and normal "appropriately weighted" people don't monitor themselves to eat an exact cal amt/day. They eat different each day, but listen to their bodies...and don't eat emotionally!!! Food is fuel :) ! Hope this rambling makes sense!

    Just for today:
    1. Be on track with cals
    2. 3+ pints water/tea
    3. Exercise 30 min
    4. Get going on helping my son research scholarship stuff for college.

    Have a great day all of you! And for any of you who are struggling, please post about it so we can cheer each other on! We all have challenging times. Go, go, go!!!

    Yes, bri170lb! LOL, wishful thinking, I'd say. But a good one. Had a good day yesterday and met my goals and jogged at lunch. Didn't make it to the gym later due to running around with my girls but only had a Subway turkey sub for dinner, so all was good.

    Just for today!
    1) Hopefully not get pranked too badly!
    2) Get in a jog at lunch
    3)Stay at/under 1200 calories
    4) Stay positive.

    Everyone have a great day!

    Today's not over:

    1. Smell the fresh cut grass and admire the spring growth. The birds are singing their praise. This is my moment of meditation. Just pause and be aware.
    2. Eat a solid healthy dinner. I have been having some crazy dinners since hubs is working late and I have no idea what I want. ;)
    3. Enjoy every bite of dinner. Eat slow.....

    Darn! It seems I didn't fool anyone! :wink: Not a single fool to be found!

    My theme for the month of April...

    Consider it all PURE JOY!

    Every trial, every win, every set back, every step, every failure and every victory will work together to mature your heart and make you wiser.

    Good or bad...it is all JOY as you step toward your goal!

    My real list:
    Just for today ( Wednesday April 1)
    1. Exercise for 1 hour
    2. Stick to 1200 calories

    Joy=waking up happy!

    First post! Getting back on track here and this board seemed like a good idea.
    1. Stick to the menu I made - pre-enter the items in my tracker.
    2. Drink four water bottles at my desk instead of snacking.
    3. Go to spin class tonight.

    Posting here definitely helps.. one day at a time...
