    Last night was lentil and carrot soup and roasted veggies (brussels and cauliflower). I really have no idea what we're having tonight other than something quick because we have a lot of work to do outside after we get home from our day job. Maybe shrimp and broccoli stir fry.

    I came in to work to water the lobby plants this afternoon. When Margie got off I was able to slip away long enough for us to run over to the Main Street Station for supper. We shared a basket of chips and salsa. I had New York Strip, shrimp, white fish and chicken, as well as Cole Slaw and potato salad. Also had a few of Margie's sweet potato waffle fries. Everything was real good. {Even if the numbers are red right now}

    Made tuna patties tonight (tuna, broccoli, green onion, corn, potato, pecorino cheese, brown rice, egg, garlic salt, black pepper, and a little hot sauce).

    I fiddled with my turkey/turkey sausage burger recipe today. Less turkey, so a higher % of turkey sausage. Turned out pretty good. Supper was grilled burgers with Swiss, mustard, mayo, onion, pickle and tomato. Also grilled sweet potato and onion. And Margie's friend sent a big pot of turnips home with her. Everything was very good.

    Larro's Sausage Turkey Burgers:

    12 oz ground turkey
    16 oz ground turkey sausage
    2 large eggs {107g}
    40g Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce
    20g Quick Oats
    1/3 Tbs lemon pepper seasoning salt
    1/3 Tbs garlic powder
    1/4 Tsp dried red pepper

    Went to Red Lobster with just me and a good book. Salad (I ditched the croutons and crumbled a cheddar bay biscuit over the salad); Maple glazed grilled chicken, mashed potatoes, rice pilaf, broccoli (ate half and brought the rest home); key lime pie for dessert (I'd say I only ate half of that too, but I'd be lying!).

    Grilled chicken, broccoli, roasted butternut squash, and a nice, big salad. And they say you can't eat healthy at dining halls...

    Sister and BIL came over for supper tonight. The salad was a family reunion. They brought what they had and we added what we had. I had toasted Asian sesame dressing with just a splash of raspberry dressing on mine. Margie cooked her turkey spaghetti sauce and we had it over Angel hair pasta {with a little Parm}, along with garlic bread. Then I had a bowl of turnips because some were left. Everything was very good, including the company.
