I can't do more than five minutes at a time without wanting to die, so I've gone and done an extra five minutes later in the day a couple of times.
When I started using my stationary bike I couldn't stand more than min at a time. At the end of Feb I did a challenge that took 8 hours straight on it. It gets easier
Thanks for your support. I used to be able to do more than an hour at a time, but then... Things happened. So I can't wait till I'm back up to that amount of strength and stamina! On a related note... I managed another five minutes today at a much faster pace... And didn't die! Definitely improving.0 -
After missing a 250 lb deadlift three days ago, and having been successful at it before, I made up for it today. My previous PR was 275 lb, and today I pulled 280 lb!

1. The heeled shoe boots I bought 6 weeks ago were tight on my ankle. Last Friday I wore them they weren't tight and I wore heels all day without pain for the 1st time in years!
2. I jogged a 8kph for 58 mins.0 -
Today, while standing up straight, I couldn't see my belly beyond my chest!
It's still there, I can see it if I crane my neck a bit, but it's leaving!
My chest measurement is officially higher than my gut measurement!2 -
To get behind the bar in our basement, I used to need to squeeeeeeeeeeze my belly between the bar opening and the wall to a ridiculous degree... Like squeezing sausage out of a tube. Yesterday I went behind the bar for the first time in a while and slipped right through, no stress. I was so flabbergasted I went through the opening maybe a dozen times just to be sure...1

I have been cooking so hubby and I would have leftovers for lunch, but this week has been way off. Yesterday? went to the cafeteria here a work and got a baked potato and salad. Only ate 1/2 the baked potato (no skin). Today? Went to Braums.....got a grilled chicken salad!!! I only used 1/2 the dressing and 1/2 the croutons and immediately threw the rest away. Very proud moment. I would usually have a "cheat" day and get a bacon cheeseburger and fries. Unfortunately, those turn into many cheat days and I'm back where I started. Proud moment for me. I keep having swimsuit flashbacks and that keeps me going...lol1

Jeans are getting loose in the waist again.
But really, just my energy, recovery, and movement while playing tennis is so much better just 14 pounds down from the beginning of the year. Looking forward to dropping another 20.0 -

I pulled out a box of old shirts that I haven't been able to wear in around 2 years. Some of them were shirts I bought hoping to fit into someday. After losing my first 32 lbs. they all fit! Now I just need to keep going util they are too big!1

In the past two months...
Jeans *require* a belt or it's a real problem.
Arms no longer flabby.
Walk up hills and stairs without being out of breath,1 -
Wore a pair of size 16 cargo khaki's out yesterday that I bought almost 10 years ago and which had been hanging in my closet with the tags still on them - never worn because too small when I bought them, and then obviously became way too small when I was piling on weight.
Felt good knowing I'm smaller now than I've been in well over a decade, and that I can finally wear my "new" pants that were once little else than a decoration in my closet for the past 10 years.1 -
For the first time today I was able to actually kick my butt during butt kicks2

wearing my jeans with no camel.2

Last night I was able to used what I believe is the 24" box for my jump offs. I also pushed myself to nauseated but not puking level while doing it. It felt great and boosted my confidence.1

Also, I'm wearing a dress today that fits much better than it did a few months ago when I wore it last.

I walked 4 miles today..I got my antibody test back and found out I am allergic to gluten, corn, soy, dairy, and eggs and a few other things so I am now able to focus on what I CAN eat and actually lose weight.1

I fit into my sweats I've had since high school (admittedly a little tight) and my size 18 jeans are starting to get loose on me. I'm almost back to the weight I was when I graduated high school. I'm also getting closer every day to the size 16 jeans I want to wear at the end of this month. So I'm very excited.
Also now that I got rid of the wheat in my soaps my eczema is 1000% gone and my skin is actually silky smooth ( I thought it was only a rumor that skin can feel this good!)1 -
For kicks and giggles I tried on those size 16, just to see how close I am. I was able to zip them up. I could hardly breath and they rivaled Sandy's leather pants for how tight they were but still I couldn't get them up my thigh back in December.2

The dress I wore to my high school graduation is too big now. I graduated in 20032

I rode my bike to a friend's place yesterday instead of driving. I had it in top gear most of the way, which is new and shows I am getting stronger. It wasn't a long ride, but I didn't arrive all sweaty like I would have done before, which was awesome and meant I could ride in my street clothes rather than gym gear and look all effortless when I got to the other end1

I try on my old, smaller clothes all the time! It's a much better gauge for progress than that stupid scale and I feel so good when I can get them all the way up or, even better, button them! Putting aside my old, reliable larger sizes is pretty freakin' awesome, too.

I bought belts yesterday!! I haven't been able to wear belts for 4 years or so. Admittedly, I'm in that awkward stage
where standing up I really, really need a belt as my jeans slide down but sitting it's just a wee bit uncomfortable.
More motivation to lose the next couple of kgs. Also - my favourite shorts fit again. Serious relief.
