I'm on a low fodmap diet (short chain carbs) for stomach issues. My mornings for the past week have consisted of:
Egg whites (sometimes chicken (pre-cooked) stirfried quickly with spinach and zucchini, then topped with raw red pepper and tomato with 1tbs of rice vinegar that I put a dash of sugar into. Very yummy big bowl of food to get the day started.0 -
Whole wheat toast, eggs, bacon, an orange, Greek yogurt and tea0
-
Coffee.
I can't eat in the mornings.0 -

I have 1 whole egg with 2 egg whites scrambled, half a cup of either pinto or black beans, 1/2 cup of berries or mixed veggies (depends on if I want sweet or savory that day), and a latte I make at home with 1 tbsp heavy cream and 1/2 cup almond milk.0

I don't usually do breakfast, but when I do, I like Greek yogurt with fresh fruit and nuts in it.0

A boiled egg most days. Monday I have a little more to help recovery from doing legs on Sunday0

I'll have a protein shake or a cliff bar or something if it's really early. I have trouble eating before 830 am or so (I work the night shift 4 days a week, so yes that's very early to me!) so if I have to leave for work before that, something small that will keep me going and I can eat on the road is ideal. usually though - I'm obsessed with poached eggs. I'll put anything between a poached egg and toast and call it breakfast. garlic fried spinach, shredded cheese, chicken bacon, sliced tomato, mashed avocado or even full on guacamole (best if served with tex-mex style black beans!) are all awesome under a poached egg.
I can't eat omelets, scrambled or fried eggs for some reason, and I don't tend to eat a lot of meat if left to my own devices, so I struggle to hit those protein goals. Thank goodness I discovered how much I like poached eggs!0 -
1 egg. I'm not usually that hungry in the mornings and I would rather save those calories for night time when I'm REALLY hungry.0
-
I make an egg salad mix.
Hard boiled eggs mixed with avocado and dijon mustard, spread on toast. Yum yum!0 -
Spaghetti and homemade beef bolognaise sauce...
I am a big fan of leftovers for breakfast, and I usually find them more filling than things like cereal, toast, and even oatmeal. Some mornings I have nothing, some I have something. Just depends on how I feel and my workout schedule that day!0 -
Plain old weetabix, no sugar. Such a simple breakfast but really does the job.0
-
I eat 30g of dry Cheerios at the moment. The cereal, not the poster above me0
-
This morning sauteed mushrooms and baked beans, yumm0
-
I usually eat 2 Organic Eggs and Organic Rolled Oats with a half of a Banana mashed in it. :-)0
-
2 freshly scrambled eggs..compliments of my hens out in the coop.
2 biscotti with coffee. My morning round of 24 oz ice water. Eggs scrambled in unsalted butter. I find that is usually enough protein and carbs to keep me going till lunchtime.
