So my month of loosie-goosie eating resulted in a 0.4 pound GAIN.
But it wasn't as bad of a gain as I had anticipated, from my Excel spreadsheet (which forecasted almost 1.5# gain).

Which then confirms, my TDEE is higher than I thought.
Some online calculator kept reducing my TDEE, because I kept losing weight.
But in fact, my actual TDEE seems to be 1635, +/- 50calories.
YAY!!! This is really high TDEE for someone my height: 4'11".

As I build MORE muscles, I may be able to increase my TDEE to 1700, which would be fantastic!!!

No more needing to eat at 1200calories to lose weight!!!!

Even eating at 1500cals/day, I would lose 1pound every month.
And with my "banking calories", I can even eat 3000 calories on Saturday at my son's bday party.

Awesome workout today: the 5x5 Deadlifts at 135# was so doable.
I'm upping them to 140# next time!!
That's after my Day 4 and Day 5 burpees/sit-ups/pushups, plank/crunches/tricep pushups Challenge, and 95# squats!

Amanda that is great! How is your TDEE so high? From a lot of work out? What calculator do you use? I'm finally seeing results eating 1400 calories a day-- I'm thrilled with the weight loss but a little hungry..,

A 2.5 lb loss in 3 weeks which includes a 5 day vacation where I ate and drank whatever I wanted without logging. I'll take it haha

I doubt I'll lose 7.5 by June 10 , which is fine. I plan to keep checking this thread for motivation from you all :)

    It's a beautiful day!!!
I just finished out my veggie garden with basil and Thai basil!
Can't wait to make my Thai beef w/ homegrown Thai basil and zucchini noodles. Yum!

I rocked my work out this morning.
At the end of my workout, I finished my last set of deadlifts at 155pounds! I'm coming back baby!
Also, I did 1 (not pretty) pull-up with just 15# of assisting. I'll get there.

I'm making this for Sunday's BBQ: it's going to be tough not to eat the whole thing.

I hope everyone had a wonderful long wknd! My husband and I just lounged around and relaxed for the most part, but the highlight of my weekend was going to a burlesque show for the first time! While I was a little anxious and had no idea what to expect- it was amazing!! The women who were onstage were confident and beautiful, even though they were not perfect! I was truly blown away by how they embraced their uniqueness and it was SEXY!

So that is my inspiration for getting back on track this wk! Watching my macros is most important to me this week and if I get into the gym at least 4x- I'll consider that a win!

    Happy Tuesday all!!!

I reached my goal today. 129 lbs. have lost 7.6 for this challenge. Really don't want to lose any more. Just maintain. Going on vacation so first week on maintenance is going to be challenging. Wish me luck.

I'm joining in. It will be difficult for me to lose 10 pounds in 31 days, but I'm going to give it a fighting chance! Among other things, I want to look nice when I leave for Daytona Beach on June 10th

The scale is showing I've lost 3 pounds. Indecent!!!!!
    I am at 167.2. I won't make it to 160 unless a miracle occurs.
I'm not giving up yet and I'm not down about the likelihood that I won't have a 10 pound loss. It will happen soon enough! Best to Everyone!

I'm starting my 30Day 100situp/100crunches Challenge today (w/ an online friend), increasing 25each set, each week.
    Who want to join me?

I do so well during the day, but I've started the bad habit of snacking at night.
    No more night time snacking.

Been working on my triceps (with skull crushers) and glute bridges (100# + Smith bar): bikini season (even though it dropped to 43degrees last night from the rain storm).

--> How are you making it work for you?
    GAME ON people.
It's not over until the *** lady sings!
    Make these 10days count.

I reached my goal and passed it. I'm now going to maintain, although I'm going away this weekend for my besties 30th so I have a feeling I may gain a little back by Monday! There's going to be lots of eating, lots of drinking and a lot less exercise haha. No harm in having a weekend off, I'll just make sure I'm back to it next week and do some damage control!

Some people have said that Maintenance is pretty hard.
Come back and tell us how it goes.

    stepherz84: Congrats!
    Enjoy yourself. You deserve it!

This is why I give myself a 5# range for GW.
    My GW = 109.
But I am aiming for 104, so that at any time, I can be +/- up to 5 pounds, and still be under my 109 Goal Weight.

I'm getting back on track with my eating.
    Workouts are great.
I'm done w/ Day 3 of my 30day abs challenge.

So I've been really slacking for this challenge! I'm actually the same exact weight from when I started! Ugh! Sometimes I just have to remind myself:
    1. Weight loss is not linear
    2. Trust the process
    3. As you get nearer to your goal weight, you have to really tighten up on your logging and weighing foods (this is where I really fail...)

But! For a non-scale victory this wk: I bought a dress online last summer from banana republic for work. When it arrived it was so small I couldn't even get it on past my hips!! I meant to return it, but somehow never got around to it. Yesterday, I found it again in the back of my closet with the tags still on :) just to try, i put it on and it FIT! It was even a little baggy! So, despite what the scale says, I was happy about that !

    Happy Friday all!

    Jamie
