Has the OP had skin prick testing to confirm this fruit allergy? Though fruit certainly isn't essential to losing weight, allergy to every fruit seems highly unlikely.0

My grandma is allergic to stoned fruit. Anyway, maybe it's an idea to find out exactly what it is in fruit that triggers your reactions. If it's snacks you're after there are veggies you can have raw - I like broccoli and carrot dipped in hummus.
But usually I'll have a small gingerbread man!
30 min on treadmill a few times a week is a grand way to start, it's your call - go with what fits your life.

I would absolutely bring veggies.
Baby carrots (or even just carrot sticks)
Peas in the shell
salad
Celery and peanutbutter
Kale chips
Nuts
Chia Pudding
Chia seed drinks
Cheese
Soups
corn and bean salad
homemade muffins (to lighten the calories--muffins can be dangerously high for me)
sandwiches
pastas
It definitely depends what you can eat and exactly how sensitive you are. There are a lot of "vegetables" that are actually fruits, but I wonder if you tolerate them more? (such as avocado, tomato, pepper, cucumber, pumpkin, etc.) It's also possible it may take you a bit more effort than it would some others. However, I will say that you will get better at choosing foods that work for you and the time will decrease as you get better at it.

OP, my advice is to see your doctor and/or an allergist. This way, you can find out exactly what it is that is upsetting your stomach. My guess? And that's all this is - is that it isn't fruit, per se, but something in the fruit. Of course, whatever it is, is probably going to be found in other foods, as well. As such, any suggestions you receive here may not work for you.0

I can eat most vegetables, but for some reason when I eat raw bell peppers I feel kind of sick, but cooked I'm fine.
That's because they are fruit.
"Vegetables" that are actually fruit:
- Peppers
- Tomatoes
- cucumbers
- gourds/squash
- olives
- avacadoes
- beans/peas
- nuts and seeds
- corn

This happens to me... Most fruit makes my mouth itch, it is a side effect to seasonal allergies and an intolerance. Just don't eat fruit. Problem solved.0

that is physically impossible. Your stomach doesn't selectively vomit up one thing in it. If your stomach is purging, anything in it will come out. So if you had strawberries and chicken for lunch and then vomited, both would come out.

Sadly yes, I used to be able to eat fruit and ate it all the time. Then I think around middle school it started.

I had a sandwich and right after I had one piece of persimmon. As soon as I ate it after a couple of minutes only the persimmon came up. I honestly don't understand, but it happens often.0 -

I'm truly interested in how your stomach would vomit up on piece of food and not all of its contents. Definitely see an allergist. It's important to know exactly what you're allergic too, plus you might be depriving yourself of foods that would actually be fine.
But anyway, I can easily do without fruit. Just nuts, cheese, Greek yogurt, granola bars etc.0 -

Please don't go around saying that you have an allergy if you have not been to an allergist. You are making things harder and more dangerous for people who actually DO have life-threatening allergies.

How tall are you? You would have to be VERY short to need to lose weight at 118 pounds.0 -
I think I haven't eaten a single fruit in months. Maybe just some berries in smoothies or something? Either way, you'll live.0

About the only thing you get from fruit that you can't substitute as easily is some of the vitamins like vitamin C. Do you get a similar reaction when you take a vitamin C supplement?
You can snack on vegetables, nuts, crackers, cheese, hummus, protein bars, that sort of thing. Try a drinkable yogurt. That's easily portable.
All foods are on the table for weight loss, and eating a variety will give you the nutrition you need. All you have to track is how much food you are eating for weight loss.0 -

100% this! As someone who has been incubated several times for life threatening allergies, this is a huge pet peeve.0 -

5'3" and 118 pounds=a BMI of 20. You are already on the lower end of the normal weight range.

5'3" and 118 pounds=a BMI of 20. You are already on the lower end of the normal weight range.
I feel like this whole thread is becoming very critical for no reason.
I may have not gone to an allergist, but it is still an allergic reaction if my mouth and throat get irritated from eating fruit. I may not know the specifics, but I definitely do have an reaction.
Plus I may be on the lower end, but I do want to become healthier, so I would appreciate some support.
The weight I gained was definitely from eating badly. I am wanting to have a healthier lifestyle.

She may have a fructose intolerance which is why typical fruits are bothersome but not vegetables, nuts.... And other people have an allergy to something in raw fruit (possibly an enzyme) but not if the fruit is cooked.
As others have mentioned cutting back on fruit tends to be a great way to lose weight, not gain it. Baby carrots are a sweet, healthy veggie that can be purchased anywhere and stuffed in a backpack.0 -

Eat less, move more, and you will do fine. You don't have to eat fruit to lose weight.0 -

What is your weight goal? If you were to lose more than ten pounds, you would be underweight. This is especially concerning since BMI tables are already so generous for those who are short.
You cannot be allergic to all fruits--it just doesn't make sense. You might be allergic to specific chemicals in particular fruits, such as bromelain--that's a very common reaction. You may also have something like IBS which is causing stomach issues.
If you really want to be healthier, work on getting a proper diagnosis and setting healthy weight goals in cooperation with your doctor.
