confession: last night after a heated "debate" with my ex over the destruction and prolonged death of our relationship, i decided to self medicate with muffins.

i'd also had a few beverages by this point, and was kinda tired. after i put the muffins in the oven, i sat down on the kitchen floor to pet wolverine, and managed to fall asleep with my head resting on the dog bed. when i woke up, the timer was going off and the kitchen was a bit smokey. my muffins ended up being lil hockey pucks. :|

There will be no drinking and baking or talking to exes on this thread! Please be careful! (Hugs)

    Made me think of this:

Omg, I love this. Going th have to save it :).

@kgeyser Can you please explain to me why my post was flagged considering it wasn't a violation of any guidelines? Seems like an abuse of the flagging system.

It's okay - it doesn't go by flags unless there is substance

I'm sorry guys, I have to skip the last 50 pages or so... I've had a very rough last couple of days. My husband had a seizure and ended up at the ER three days ago. It was a very traumatic experience for both of us. Long story short, hes okay now, but we're both shook up and scared. Hope everyone is doing alright

HOLY SMURF! I was kinda wondering where you had been @annette_15. That is horrible. I'm glad he's okay now but that must have been terrifying for both of you.
I will hope with great fortitude that you both stay in good health.

No worries - Richfield (between Cleveland and Akron)

Good thing you said between Cleveland and Akron as I've never heard of Richfield before :) but I don't think it's too far from Cbus!

Confession: I saw a lot of them after church on Sundays. My parents took us to this place that had cheap pizzas (by the slice too I think) and silent films in black and white and an organist playing music to the films. There was a bubble machine there too. Pizza, organ music, bubbles and black and white films. Whoohoo.

Confession: It was not my favorite place to go but it fit my parents budget.

Confession: Looking back it was a one of a kind place to eat lunch (nearly) every Sunday.

ETA: Now I want a bubble machine, just because.

Agreed. Add a shrimp tempura appetizer and Gyoza, and I didn't do so well :). Back on it tomorrow.

Mmmm. Miso soup. I make good miso soup and SO makes lovely sushi. No fried stuff, minimal rice.

I didn't like sushi until recently.

I will admit that I eat the "fancy" sushi, as my daughter calls it. I love the shrimp tempura roll and sweet potato roll (another tempura one).

I keep deodorant in the car and my desk at work (when I have a desk and a work :( ) because I frequently forget. My daughter did it the other day and said she had to do the T-Rex arm thing all day.

I do really like tempura, and I can eat the rolls and stuff. I don't hate it, but it wouldn't be top of my list if I had a bunch of spare calories.
