June 2015 Weight Loss Challenge

Week 1
Weight lost/gained this week: -1

Successes: I worked my way up from doing 6,000 steps to doing 10,000 + every day. I am walking almost every evening for at least 30mins to hit that target.
Struggles: I had a bit of a wobble on Sunday. It was a foul day and my mood matched the weather. Ate into my exercise calls big time. Couldn't believe my eyes when I got on the scales on Monday and had dropped 1 lb.

Successes: I have kept over 10,000 steps every day and managed to keep fairly close to my Basic cals without eating back exercise cals. I have lost another 0.5" off both waist and hips.
Struggles: 2 Late nights were a struggle as this is when I tend to waver.
Week 3
Weight lost/gained this week: 0
Weight lost/gained this month: -2
Successes: I have kept my daily steps above 10,000 and have been mostly keeping my daily cals around 1200.
Struggles: Too many social events so was was eating to much unhealthy stuff so no weight loss again this week.
Week 4
Weight lost/gained this week: 0
Weight lost/gained this month: -2
Successes: My weight has stayed steady for 3 weeks.
Mostly hitting my basic daily calorie goal each day and consistently exceeding my 10,000 daily steps goal.
I lost another 0.5" off my hips.
Struggles: Plateauing so didn't meet my June target.
I had a meal out on Saturday night which meant I had to eat into my exercise calories.
Fortunately, I had walked quite a bit in the afternoon, sight-seeing in Belfast with some out of town friends.
2 lbs short of my June weight loss goal.
However, I am 3 lbs ahead of my half-year goal for 2015.
The drop in inches means that clothes two sizes smaller are now hanging off my shoulders, so not disheartened.
Determined to stick with this into July.0 -

Successes/struggles this week: lost a bit overall and that is good. Maybe I can reach my goal but even if not I got very close - happy me! I did regular exercise but I had a bit of a rough weekend when it comes to food drink and sleep (=lack of). lots of fun though but I am very tired and that makes me vulnerable in terms of wise choices today. No gym tonight as I just want to go to bed. Will try to fit some in tomorrow. Before the weekend I was really good when it comes to calorie deficit, burned calories... but did not lose much, even had a gain in between and that left me a bit frustrated. I can feel the first excitement slowing down and that's a dangerous thing. I hope to feel more energized after a good night's sleep and carry on. Really hope there will be a July follow up on this as I weigh myself daily and here the overall tendency is clearer to see.
Yesterday I was down to 83.1 and I kept my calories and went to the gym so I was hoping to reach my goal. well, didn't happen but still 3 kg gone, hopefully for good!0 -
