    Love the Dune Chronicles <3

    About a 2, give or take 1 point. Films are great as films but trying to turn a book into a film has always been a hugely disappointing failure in my opinion. Mainly for the complete lack of inner dialogue which complete changes the experience for me.

    I honestly can't pass the judgement on it as I hadn't read the book first. You are right though, I'm sure that certain books probably lend quite well to a film translation, especially more action based ones. Also maybe if Morgan Freeman narrated the films then they would get a +10 to their score automatically.
