    Hi Guys
You all sound like you LOVE to do cardio
But i hate cardio
Is there any way there is to make cardio more interesting
As i would love to loose the last bit of weight
    Thanx
    Louise

If you can multi-task try reading and walking at the same time. Or if you have a portable DVD player, watch a movie while walking. :) That kind of stuff helps me if I don't have anyone to talk with while working out.

reading and walking is soooo dangerous lol!!!!! even texting is dangerous. too often people get hit by cars, down here anyway, while they are on their mobiles texting

Oh, I'm totally in for this challenge! I'm going to aim for 100 miles over the course of June... Hopefully I can do it with everything else I have going this month!

    Good luck everyone!

I'm in again. I will change my ticker tomorrow, but leave my goal the same, because I'm not sure how my summer will stack up now that school is out. Let's go out and pound that pavement!

I will be joining again in June - tried for 100 miles last month but rain then heat has kept my walking less. I'm going lower and going for 75 this month, did only 53 in May, but setting my goal higher for a challenge!

For sure! Pick a route, (along a river bank, round your local park or even a scenic route around your town) then get your shoes on and start walking! I bet you'll be amazed at how much your mind roams free and how much you notice that you wouldn't in a car... (birdsong is wonderful this time of year) Start off with a short distance and build it up slowly. I'm sure you will be amazed at how much you have done in a few weeks, by the end of June. Record your workouts, you can use kms/miles/steps and you can do it here with the exercise ticker. Whatever you use, it will quickly build up. Whatever you decide, ENJOY! (and let us know what you're doing?)
ps ipod, book, newspapers, magazines, all come in handy in case you get bored and want a break...

I would also like to join in this month. Since I will be out of town at a conference for an entire week - it may be hard to get the miles in I'd normally do with my lunch time wallking buddies. I'll step down the number of miles to 100 - and make sure I take my tennis shoes and mp3 player.

Thanks for carrying on here, NV! I didn't quite make my goal in May, but am trying again for June. Here's hoping. . .

Please count me in too. I'm starting off slowly - we'll see how it goes. I've learned to enjoy walking. Never thought I'd be able to say that!

Dance is the answer. It is so much more fun! Pick a duration or step goal instead of distance. Find the tunes, videos or class you love and dance, Dance, DANCE!

If you'd told me 3 years ago that I'd be taking three 2 hr dance classes a week:noway: , I'd have laughed myself right off the couch...

What a beautiful morning - no humidity. I really enjoyed my 3 mile walk this morning with my dog, Mason - (lab/shepherd mix). It was a nice brisk walk.

    Hope everyone enjoys their day!
