I'm a big fan of these brands. Is there a type of shoe in particular that you would recommend?0 -
I prefer to go barefoot. Of course it isn't always practical so for shoes I like Merrell barefoot style shoes or Vibram Five Fingers. Zero heel drop and no padding. Rather than relying on the shoe to support my feet I let my feet support themselves. Transitioning to this mode of footwear made my feet a lot stronger and has greatly reduced the knee pain I have had for years due to chronic injuries. I wear these shoes every day for work and spend most of my work day on my feet and very active.0

I like asics. I have plantar fasciitus and can still jog and walk a lot in them. I managed over 22,000 steps yesterday with little pain.0
