8/10 - Lofty Ladies ride! 22.4 miles in 1:24:48 (we only had one group due to the threat of rain/actual rain, so we had LOTS of stopping for the slower folks to catch up)
8/11 - track workout: 4.16 miles in 46:39 - 1 mile warm up at 10:00 pace, then 6x200M sprints on 1 min with 200M walk (2-3 min) btw. Sprint splits: 56 sec, 52, 49, 51, 50, 49 (that is roughly a 6:08 avg pace for the sprints!!!). 1 mile cooldown at 9:34 pace, one lap walk.

Just got in 15 miles of biking (commuting) and 8 miles of running today. Going to return to the water & weight room tomorrow along with a run and bike. Looks like if I can pile on the running miles when up north this week, and do the same on the bike next week when back in the hot south, I'll squeeze by with my goal.
