This is my very first post. Please go easy on me if I'm not doing it right. I want to join the Move challenge for June with a goal of 50 lbs! Do I just update my ticker and post the number of miles completed on this thread? Also, I saw that someone mentioned there's a google spreadsheet where we can see the group's progress? Where can I find that? Thanks everyone!!0

Just joined My Fitness Pal today. Hope this challenge helps me to stay motivated to move some of these pounds off!

This weekend I will be walking 39.3 miles in the 2-Day Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in Chicago. I will post a few miles later. I don't want to do too much today, just enough to stay limber for tomorrow. I'm super excited for this walk. It will be my 3rd time participating and I still get ridiculously emotional. A high school friend of mine passed away last year at just 33 years old and I have another friend who is 39 who is battling it out right now.
I'm super close to my fundraising goal. Just $125 short. I know times are tough with our economy, but if you can, please donate. ANY donation of ANY size makes a difference. The link to my walk page is below. Please visit it even if it's just to read why I do this walk and why I fight for a cure.

Woot! Finished my Active.com 10k training plan today! Warrior Dash (3.5 miles) is a week from tomorrow, and my first 10k isn't until the end of July, so I'll just continue with the last few weeks of that training plan until then, alternating longer and shorter runs.
Today, I covered 4.3 miles. Some very hilly running, some walking, and a .29 mile fast lap around the block where I averaged 7.85 mph! I didn't know I could go that fast! I credit Rammstein's "Du Hast." Can't go slow to that song. :laugh:
So that puts me at 14.9 for the month. Getting a tattoo this afternoon, then going to rest for a few days. It's going to be between my shoulder blades, and unless I can find a sports bra that isn't a t-back, I'm not going to want anything rubbing back there.0 -

Nothing for me so far today; been sitting all day and legs a little tight as the office so hot. Did have the gym items in the car but its just not feasible at the moment (6pm here). I will go home and put them in some ice and see what happens!
