JFT
1. Leave the ice cream alone that I so stupidly bought yesterday. Even though it is "skinny cow" ice cream, I still can't just eat one.
2. Take a long walk today.
3. Get back on the plan. I was doing so well, but had 2 days with too much sugar, which is bad for me.
4. Work on cleaning the house today. A uncluttered, clean house makes a person feel so much better. I have been doing so much sewing (17 charity lap quilts done so far . But as a result, house work has suffered!
I just discovered a website called James Clear. I am going to start reading his free books - about changing your habits.
Oh my gosh! LOVE Skinny Cow ice cream, and I agree....one is NEVER enough! LOL!0 -
JFT, Monday, sept 14
1. CHANGE MY MINDSET. This is not a "all" or "nothing" diet. I started with just 1 buster bar, which led me to buy "skinny cow" icecream, and this weekend was awful. I believe I ate 4 skinny cows just yesterday. I know sugar is my downfall, but I have to change my mindset, or I will forever be going up and down with my weight, and not reach my goals.
2. This is a lifestyle change - not a diet!
3. drink water
4. Be thankful for my health, and take care of myself.0 -
J4T Monday
1. Walk 3 miles
2. Stick to calorie goal
3. Clean office
4. Take mom to get nails done
5. Grocery shop, plan & prep meals0 -
JFT - back to 1200 calories
Drink more water0 -

2. Attend Patchwork Group this morning
Terri - are you a quilter? Just wondering if this is what your Patchwork group is. I love to quilt and sew. Mostly in the evenings -- now if I can just keep doing this instead of grabbing snacks in between sewing
What a great idea! I feel much of my binge eating or late night snacking is due to boredom sitting in front of the TV, finally " relaxing"... I'm not into quilting but it seems like I need to find something that works for me. Any ideas?
I do all sorts of crafts, paint watercolours, write poetry. I am an ex-teacher, so I run 4 groups for a local charity and belong to another 10 or so, but will have to put them on hold until I recover from my hip op. I have a new patchwork project, my first full quilt, which I hope will keep me busy.

I will stay under my new calorie goal.
I will reinforce my wellness mantra.
I will work out for 80 minutes.
I am expressing gratitude for my parents. Spent time with them over the weekend which reinforced the loving, supportive environment they created for me. To this day, I feel cherished walking in their door.
Great day.
Well under new calorie goal.
Worked out for 93 minutes including a 3 mile walk at 16:60 a mile.
Expressed my wellness mantra
For today:
I will stay under my new calorie goal and not eat chips
I will work out for 40 minutes
I will express my wellness mantra
I am expressing gratitude for the simple thing of covered parking at work, home and at my airport off site parking. Nice to keep my car clean, out of the damaging and hot sun, free from snow and in a more secure environment.

Crock pot is ready - this will eliminate some of my stress. I tend to snack on unhealthy things while prepping dinner.
Pretrack again.
Add more protein in the am.
Walk & try to make yoga (I need to meditate)
Take youngest to doctor.
Revisit a past interest.
Stop looking to others for my happiness. It's up to me!
