1. 15k steps 22,537 steps but boy was I tired
2. Log all calories done
3. Stick to calorie goal done
4. 5 km run done hoping for sub 30 but got 30:02 close.

What a great idea! I feel much of my binge eating or late night snacking is due to boredom sitting in front of the TV, finally " relaxing"... I'm not into quilting but it seems like I need to find something that works for me. Any ideas?
I do all sorts of crafts, paint watercolours, write poetry. I am an ex-teacher, so I run 4 groups for a local charity and belong to another 10 or so, but will have to put them on hold until I recover from my hip op. I have a new patchwork project, my first full quilt, which I hope will keep me busy.

Had good days on Wednesday through Saturday. Daily goals were pretty much the same for each day.
Helped prep some food yesterday which was a great boost. I spent an hour shelling peas. This morning I got up and made myself a cup of tea.
Forgot to post this yesterday lol. It was Michael's birthday. My daughter has gone off on honeymoon to visit the West of Ireland, a week in Rome then a visit to Amsterdam on her way home. We are looking after her dogs for the two weeks.

I will stay within 20% of my calorie goal

I am expressing gratitude for what I should have focused on yesterday, 9/11. Living in this great country where I have the freedom and abilities do accomplish whatever I want to in life.
20% over my calories but had an active and fun day. Didn't follow my 3/4 program at breakfast or dinner. Overage was lemonade, bread and butter.
Walked 3 miles at under 17 min a mile
Didn't reinforce my wellness mantra.
For today:
Headed home after 7 days on the road.
I will stay under my calorie goal. I mean it.

I will work out for 40 minutes and do my exercise routine mindfully

JFT be productive in everything I do -- make healthy food, go to gym, market, laundry, do mending that has been here for months; re-organize shelving stuff; watch football. Sounds like a good day to me! I am mad at myself, was planning on hiking early this AM with a new group, but it poured rain all day yesterday, just poured, so I passed and slept in. Sure enough it is beautiful this morning and I missed the hike. Trying not to beat myself up too much, I will catch the next hike.0

Good day yesterday. Stayed on track and even got in a gym workout that wasn't scheduled so that felt good. Today in an all-day function so have planned and packed all my food.

Pretrack as much meals/snacks for the entire weekend.
Make good choices for food all weekend.
Make a list of WHY I want to get healthy.
Drink 9 cups of water.
Plan an evening walk & an early am walk (tomorrow).
Have a great weekend!
Can't seem to preplan weekend meals yet. Still a challenge.

Feeling centered after going to church today.
Went out for lunch w/family & was in control. Ordered healthy meal & packed 1/2 for home.

1. Leave the ice cream alone that I so stupidly bought yesterday. Even though it is "skinny cow" ice cream, I still can't just eat one.
2. Take a long walk today.
3. Get back on the plan. I was doing so well, but had 2 days with too much sugar, which is bad for me.
4. Work on cleaning the house today. A uncluttered, clean house makes a person feel so much better. I have been doing so much sewing (17 charity lap quilts done so far . But as a result, house work has suffered!
I just discovered a website called James Clear. I am going to start reading his free books - about changing your habits.0 -

Could have done much better on the road last week.
For yesterday, I was over my calories by 12%. Missed logging a snack...
Didn't reinforce my wellness mantra and didn't work out.

I will work out for 80 minutes.
I am expressing gratitude for my parents. Spent time with them over the weekend which reinforced the loving, supportive environment they created for me. To this day, I feel cherished walking in their door.

Just for today, September 14th, I will:
- Drink water like my throat is on fire.
- Log every morsel that is lucky enough to pass my lips and take a ride on the DigestiveTrack.
- Do 10 squats every time I go to pee unless someone's in the bathroom because awkward.
- See sugar for the poison it is and avoid it altogether.
- Encourage myself like I would a good friend.
- Remember that my health is invaluable and this life is the only one I get.
