CREATE A WELL-ROUNDED PLAN....
Eating the right combination of superfoods, such as fresh produce, whole grains, lean protein, and low-fat dairy will give your body the energy it needs, protect you from chronic diseases, and may even whittle your waist.
In addition, giving your fitness routines the time and dedication needed will also help speed your fitness results.
KEEP IT GOING EVERYONE! Two more days and we'll have weigh in Monday starting our 4th week into this challenge!0 -

Goal weight by end of November: 66.5kg
I will be happy just to lose 1kg. Going to new Zealand toward the end of November so I wont be weighing in on the 31st, probably the week before that. My weight hasn't budged for 2 months.. I've been so unmotivated and keep making excuses, but I really wanna get at least 1kg off in November.
Welp... weighed myself this morning and im up to 69.5kg somehow. kinda bummed. I hope its water weight from starting a new birth control and starting a new workout routine, but cant deny ive been eating a lot lately. hadn't weighed myself for maybe 3 weeks so entirely possible. just gonna accept this new weight and keep on truckin'. new goal is 68.5kg
Life happens, so don't be too hard on yourself! You can do this...so just take one day and make it your best!0 -

Consumed with this 'THING' called losing weight?
Do you ever feel so consumed with this thing called losing weight? It's on your mind 24/7...
You journal your food...
You log your progress...
You exercise...
You weigh yourself every morning (even though you shouldn't)...
You lose a few pounds and celebrate...
You gain a few pounds and get depressed...
You eat again, go to sleep and do it all over again the next day!
Its like our every waking thought is on this 'THING', and how in the world did this 'THING' get so out of control that it seems to control US instead of us controlling 'IT'?
It feels that way to me anyway... Maybe that's why I wanted to find a place to just encourage others through the process; a place where we could all be encouraged and encourage others. We are NOT alone and it is a process where there are NO QUICK FIXES. We need each other! Other people who never struggle with this 'THING' just don't get those who do. It's one day at a time living and choosing, being and believing that one day we will arrive. And with the encouragement of others, WE WILL!
Our breakthroughs are right here right now. Can you see them? They are in the little things...Like that choice you made to go to bed early or take a long bubble bath instead of snacking mindlessly through the night. Or maybe it was your choice to get out of bed in the morning and take a long walk even though it was cold and rainy outside. Or just maybe it was your choice to love who you are and who you where made to be instead of telling yourself you'll never amount to anything.
Celebrate your breakthrough today by thinking on what you did do right instead of what you didn't. Don't consume yourself every waking minute with this 'THING'. It doesn't control you, you control 'IT'! Yes, journal your food and yes, log your progress, but then let it go for the rest of your day and live well.
All you have is today, so make it your best.
Thank you!0 -

Sw 195
Cw 189.8
Gw 182
Total loss 5.2
It finally went back down. I realized that I am averaging just shy of 2 lb loss per week. I need to keep that in perspective when I get frustrated. I am definitely a lot stronger so the health increases are even better than the weight loss
