I was told we all have good days and bad days. Just keep trucking along. I'm battling a depression episode right now so just know that you aren't struggling alone. Things get better. And definently don't beat yourself up if you don't meet all your goals today. Even just attempting them is an awesome accomplishment. You are trying and it shows.

i'm in that same big boat with you, smkuhn1419. we shall just keep on, keeping on!

@smkuhn1419: Good for you!!! I don't think I could run for 6 minutes straight. Don't be discouraged by what you wish you could have done...be proud that you DID something! It's more than I have done today! Stick with it. I'll bet you will be surprised at how much progress you will have made even in one month's time!

Been absent the past few days - work has been crazy busy, and then today we had 6 trees cut down. So this week I think I will get my exercise in!

I did OK today - trying to keep carbs and sugar low. Still got into some halloween candy, but stopped at just 2 little bars.

I was having problems with my MFP app yesterday on my phone. I gave my phone to my 13 year old son this morning and he had it fixed in 3 seconds! Someday all of my children will be grown and moved away...who will take care of my IT problems?! Hopefully they won't get too far from home!

    Tuesday:
    1. 10,000 steps
    2. swim a mile
    3. under 100G carbs

    What is the Chalean program?

Chalean Extreme is a Beachbody program with Chalean Johnson (Turbo Jam, Turbo Fire). It's a 3 days-a-week, 12-week weights program broken into three 4-week sections. I like following videos instead of going to the gym for strength workouts so I like it. It's an older program - have had it for years.

    New here, hi everyone.

    JFT
    1. Use timer so I stand/walk/housework for 15 minutes, rest for 10, repeat, for at least 4 cycles in a row. (1 hour "active")
    2. Goal 5000 steps for the day.
    3. Clean and cut all the veggies I bought yesterday so they're "grab and go".

    1. Stay within weight loss calories. :)
    2. Walk the dogs :)
    3. Weights workout (Burn Circuit 2) :) Burn Circuit 2 + Speed 1.0
    4. Clean the house :)

Did well yesterday in meeting my commitments. Struggling a bit with moving into a weights-based program instead of a cardio-based one. I know weights are beneficial in the long run but I miss the immediate calorie burn of more intense cardio sessions. Plus, I miss the cardio "high" that helps me feel better. That's why I threw in a cardio workout after the other one yesterday.

    JFT, 11/11

    1. Cardio day!

Hmmm. Can't find my post from yesterday. I did it on my phone so perhaps it didn't come through. Just as well, since I probably only got 50% of it right!
