    Hi my name is Amy. I'd love to join the 7n7 challenge. I am relatively new to MFP and have lost a few pounds the last month. But more than weight loss I've gained confidence! One of my top goals is to be able to perform rocky style seat ups and push ups. I am not there yet, but I'm enjoying the journey that brings me there. Please feel free to add me.     I imagine no one is too anxious to get on the scales the day after Thanksgiving, but I didn't have Thanksgiving yesterday so I have no excuse. The pound that I lost two days ago did not register today.....very frustrating.

    So, earlier this week I had to replace my scale with a different one and the there was a whopping 6 lbs difference! Of course it wasn't six lbs in a favorable direction. So, I'm adjusting my numbers to reflect this change.

    I had a large loss this week after upping my calorie intake. I was feeling very sluggish and knew it just had to be that I wasn't eating enough...especially since I hadn't lost last week. Turns out, I was right! I needed to eat more.

    I managed the big Thanksgiving meal great but the meals eating out during the week for birthdays and continuing education didn't help me this week. My MFP weigh-in is on Sunday and on 11/22 I was down 0.5 lbs. Today for this challenge, my scales showed that I had gained it back...bummer! I told my hubby my goals/rewards earlier for this challenge and he surprised me with a hiking stick although I didn't reach this week's goal. (Soooo sweet!) He even cut it shorter for my 5'4" height. Now I just need to put it to good use.
