I imagine no one is too anxious to get on the scales the day after Thanksgiving, but I didn't have Thanksgiving yesterday so I have no excuse. The pound that I lost two days ago did not register today.....very frustrating.

So, earlier this week I had to replace my scale with a different one and the there was a whopping 6 lbs difference! Of course it wasn't six lbs in a favorable direction. So, I'm adjusting my numbers to reflect this change.
I had a large loss this week after upping my calorie intake. I was feeling very sluggish and knew it just had to be that I wasn't eating enough...especially since I hadn't lost last week. Turns out, I was right! I needed to eat more.

Non-scale victory (NSV) for the week: I walked 40 minutes today. My sugar crashed and I did NOT eat junk food to recover! I have Type 1 diabetes and take insulin.0 -
I managed the big Thanksgiving meal great but the meals eating out during the week for birthdays and continuing education didn't help me this week. My MFP weigh-in is on Sunday and on 11/22 I was down 0.5 lbs. Today for this challenge, my scales showed that I had gained it back...bummer! I told my hubby my goals/rewards earlier for this challenge and he surprised me with a hiking stick although I didn't reach this week's goal. (Soooo sweet!) He even cut it shorter for my 5'4" height. Now I just need to put it to good use.
