Hey Ladies!
I am 5'2 and my hw was 168 lbs, my cw is 161lbs, my gw is 108 lbs. I just started this past Monday on a whim. I have never done calorie counting, always saw results just eating clean and doing low carb but I thought I would try something different. I absolutely love MFP. It's been one week but I already have learned so much.
Please add me so we can encourage each other. I am currently doing 1200-1300 calories a day. :-)

I'm 44, 5'2.5", and was 265lbs or so when I started MFP in July 2014. I am 140ish now, but would like to see the underside of 130 again. Been walking and hiking more than any other exercise.7

5'3" here (After shrinking 2" post-car accident & back surgery). I am down 85lbs from 200-115 in just over 10 months. MFP does not show my true loss (sadly) because it's using old info. It's all good, I know what I accomplished1

I think you look fantastic and good on you for working so hard to get that weight off.0

I'm 5'1 and 3/4 inches. It's funny to me how we add on that partial inch! My current weight is 174 and goal weight is 126-128. I believe I gained 20-25 pounds in the last 10 years. I'm starting over again...most I have ever lost was 10 pounds so it would be nice to have motivation from others like me. Please feel free to add me...1

I'm 5'2 ... Down 13 lbs. So far. Started my weight loss journey October 1, starting at 200 lbs. Current weight now is 187 lbs. Goal weight is to get back down to my pre pregnancy weight at 160 lbs. Hoping to get back to this weight or at least close to it by my daughter's 3rd birthday in March.1

I am so jealous you got to keep the boobs! I think mine were the first thing to go.
I started out 18 months ago at 295lbs. I am 5'3" and was wearing 3-4 x shirts and 24 in pants with a 46 DDD bra. Now I am down 140 lbs to roughly 155 and am wearing a size med or large in shirts, 9/10 in pants and a 34C bra. Things really slowed after the first 100 lbs lost and I am still aiming to lose another 15-20 lbs.2 -
Bump, need to get this one going for the New Year.1

5' 3" here! A few years ago I was very happy with my appearance and health. I had energy and growing confidence. My husband had purposely worked hard to lower my self esteem but I was getting better. I made it down to 125lbs. I only wanted to lose 5 more and do a little toning...but unfortunately I had to have a small surgery that didn't go well and I started to get in a funk and started to eat bad and gained weight. At this point in my life, my marriage has fallen apart and I'm in the middle of a divorce. I'm picking up the pieces and feeling excited to lose weight. It's hard not to turn to food for comfort though. I had made it up to 155 but am now at 144. Goal weight is 120. Please add me. I'd love to give and receive encouragement.7

Congrats!! Was this just with counting calories or watching macros also? Thanks!0 -
Wow! This is great, thank you for sharing folks.
I'm 5'3" (on a good day!), my starting weight just before Christmas 2015 was 185lbs, I've lost 3.9lbs in the last 4 weeks. My initial goal weight is 140lbs, I'll reassess when I get there. I'm aiming to lose a lb a week. I had spinal surgery in November and am recovering from pneumonia, once I'm a little healthier I'm planning to up my exercise and walk more which should boost my weightloss, I'll look at joining a gym when I am well enough to.
Ultimately I want to weigh less than my 5'9" hubby, which might be a challenge, he weighs about 133lbs and has a 28" waist! It's not easy living with someone who regularly eats 3000 calories just to keep his weight up. I'd love to be in the 'healthy' bmi range, but I'm a curvy girl with boobs and when I got down to 147lbs in the past it didn't seem like a bmi of 25 or below would be very achievable.2 -
i've lost 30ish pounds 5'3" by doing aerial yoga and working on some aerial hammock stuff. and running. lots of running. I prefer body weight work over weights2

You are going through a lot and I commend you for being able to focus on fitness at a tumultuous time. Congratulations for escaping a negative environment and building a new life for yourself! It's not easy!

I'm 5'3 and was around 195 in the first picture, and 160 in the second. I'm half way to my goal but have hung around 160 for some time. I'm back on the wagon now but I'm still proud I was about to maintain almost a 40 lb loss for two years.
So inspired and proud of all the shorties on this thread!
