My name is Elisabeth, and I am 26 years old, 5'7" and 210.4 lbs as of this morning! I seriously need a goal, and I need others to help me stay accountable! I would love to lose just 2 pounds a week so this is very doable! I will be weighing in on Wednesdays! I know it seems crazy to begin this before Christmas, but I have to start now! I can't go another couple of weeks until January 1st!
A little about me:
I am married to an amazing man, and we have an 18 month old daughter!
Occupation: I am an R.N. per diem in a surgery center, but I mostly am able to stay home with my sweet baby!
Favorite Color: Green
Favorite Store to shop in: J Crew, Anthropologie and Target of course!
Favorite Hobbies: kayaking, cooking, sewing, photography, traveling!
An interesting fact: My husband and I lived in Africa for 3 months back in 2012!

Count me in! I have been trying to do this solo for about 4 months and have only lost about 4 pounds. A pound a month is going to take forever. I need a place to "report".
I'm 5'3" - 160 lbs
Goal - 130 lbs (more would be great, 130 seems realistic)
I'm 45 years old, married with two kids (5 and 7). I get up every day to exercise at 4am (crazy!!) I know exercise is not my problem - it's diet. And not that I eat bad food (don't do fast food, chips, etc) , just not the RIGHT food. And maybe too much wine.
20 lbs by March would be fantastic!!! Let's do this! Add me in!

lmcginley, so nice to meet you! SO cool you work with solar products!! That sounds super interesting enough to me!! In Africa we were working with a missions organization and living at an orphanage and doing evangelical and medical outreaches! It was awesome! So glad you are joining us!!0

That's awesome! I worked with a sustainable development group in college doing green/sustainable agriculture in Nicaragua but it wasn't for as long! Sounds like great work you did!0

I am in! Ive lost 5 pounds over the last 4 months, so I am with you. I am 5'2" and 125 pounds. My goal should probably only be 15 pounds, so 1.5 per week for me.0

Hobbies: Reading, school, computer games.
An interesting fact: I am a cheerleader and can do flips! My coach doesn't put me in anything so I sit every day at practice, so I am not getting much exercise.

Favorite color is blue. I worked as a Human Resource Mgr for 16 yrs and was dx with MS in 2009. I've been a home body ever since. I get depressed and lose 20 lbs, then decide I feel better and I gain 25...ugh.0 -

I'd like to join! I'm 35 years old, 5'10" and 167. 20 pounds may be a little ambitious for me (I haven't been under 155 since I was 18, and that was pretty dang skinny at my height), but I could use the motivation! A little about me- my husband and I have been married for nine years and are parents to a sweet six-year-old boy, and I work full-time in city management. Food, all of the food, is my weakness! Fortunately, I also get up at 4 a.m. to get my workouts in. I loooooooove going to my barre class early in the morning, and I also run (starting training for marathon #3 in January!)0

I would like to join. I'm 44 (45 next month). I'm 5'6" and weigh 215 pounds. I'd like to lose a total of at least 60 pounds. I'm married and have two boys, 14 & 12. I'm good while at work, but then I get home and eat out of boredom. Working on that. Probably need to find some hobbies, but don't really have any besides liking to read.

I am in, 20 lbs sounds wonderful, even though I need to loose more, it's a start..I am going to be 45 in Jan, 5'10 and 258lbs..I have 5 children, 26, 23,21, and twins that are 15..I work as a van driver for special needs kids, it's part time.
My problem is the get up and go and my diet, I've cut soda all together and I've cut snacking but I don't eat enough, I also don't move enough, really need pushed, so if we can all motivate each other, I'm in all the way..feel free to add me raevazquez@gmail.com0 -
Hey everyone, I have about 40-50 lbs to lose but always get demotivated. Even now, I've started counting my calories but honestly have no motivation. My ex got engaged behind my back with a random girl his mom
Chose (arranged ) bc clearly fuxking around left, right and centre wasn't enough. Any case, so it kind of left me broken and I gained a good 30 lbs, I do crossfit, I completely suck at it but I still do it but lately haven't had the motivation to go either. I know I need to lose weight and I want to but no motivation so any suggestions would greatly help! Thanks ! Xox

My name is Elisabeth. I am 21 years old, 5' 3" and am about 160 pounds. I have always been overweight for most of my life, though never full-blown obese. I want to change that and have flat abs! I love Pilates, but am trying to do more than that because I need something more to boost my metabolism. I got down to 150 this summer, but got back on certain medication (and gave in to one sweet, starting a familiar trend all over again...) and gained all ten pounds back in just two months. Really makes me mad. Been doing the elliptical heavily the last three out of four days.

Hello everyone!
I see I'm no alone. I am 48 almost 49. I am 5'3 and weigh 130 pounds. I'm not happy with the way my clothes are fitting. I'm used to weighing 123-125 pounds. I am getting frustrated with all the diets out there. I have tried them all but most recent is plant based diet and 7 day soup diet. Yes, I lost 6 pounds but I was so deprived for real food that I'm a junky now. I'm embarrassed to say that I work out everyday same as some, get up at 4am. Oh yeah, and I'm a life time weight watchers member. My frustration is that I can't eat foods that are healthy because I'm not satisfied no more. I honestly don't know what to do. I know that we all have problems with why we can't get to our goal. Maybe it would help each other if we shared that as well. We're all here for help. I also would love to be added to the group. I know we're all different sizes and some have more to lose than others, but the bottom line is we're paying money for help.
My problem is craving unhealthy foods, and getting bored from healthy food. If I'm not satisfied, let's just say tie down the refrigerator I'll eat everything until I'm satisfied. I've never been like this and I hate my clothes squeezing me.
Help!
I just want to say this is not a New Years Resolution; I don't believe in them. This is me crying out for a solution to my problem.
