I'm going to Jamaica for a wedding and I have a gifted designer dress all picked out to wear--if I lose 30 lbs by April! (It's a silly goal, but every little bit of motivation helps).
I'm 30, 5'9" and married without kids yet. I weigh 191, down from my heaviest of 209.

In! I'm Kim, 27yrs old, 5'6" 159lbs aiming for 140. I'm taking things slow so 20 lbs in 10 weeks might be a bit steep for me, but 10-15 is definitely doable and I love the accountability that comes with these kinds of challenges.

I'm a dancer and kind of curvy so you can imagine I don't fit in much at my studio. My goal is to loose up to 10 pounds by May for prom. My name is Elisabeth, and I am 26 years old, 5'7" and 210.4 lbs as of this morning! I seriously need a goal, and I need others to help me stay accountable! I would love to lose just 2 pounds a week so this is very doable! I will be weighing in on Wednesdays! I know it seems crazy to begin this before Christmas, but I have to start now! I can't go another couple of weeks until January 1st!
This is NOT A CRAZY idea! The confidence you gain by staying in control over the holidays will be priceless and will sweep you along the path towards your goal!
I made a commitment at the beginning if December last year, not to lose weght, just to not gain any more. I was so excited that I had actually lost a few pounds by January that I just kept on going! I'm down 117 pounds so far!

I'm in too! I'm 18, a little over 5'8 and currently 137 looking to stay motivated to eat healthy and workout over the holidays! I'd like to be able to lose ten to fifteen pounds, build some muscle and maintain through healthy habits by the time spring rolls around.

My name is Trish and I am 30 years old, married to an adorable nerd from India, and live in California's Silicon Valley. Since June of this year, I have worked my butt literally off and have lost 41 pounds. I am 186 right now and have another 26 pounds to go to get to my goal weight. I love to get close to it by March!
Occupation: I am an Education Specialist (working with children with special needs) and am almost done with my school administration degree. I am hoping to be in administration within the next couple of years.

Bring it On!!!! I am 30 years old 5 feet 6 inches. Have 2 amazing beautiful kids one who is 6 and the other is 14 month old. I've already lost about 38 lbs but have kind of been stuck there So an extra 30 pounds would be perfect before my husband's family reunion in June.

Thank you, Elisabeth, for creating this group. I'm in! I have always struggled with my weight and have finally accepted that I have "let myself go." I am currently 165, and my goal is 120 (I'm 5'1). It has taken me well over a month of dieting to lose just five pounds, so my progress is SSSSLLLOOOOOWWWWW. I try to keep in mind that slow weight loss yields lasting results -- or at least I hope it does!
A little about me: I'm almost 38, and I am taking time off from work to stay at home with my adorable son. I love to exercise, but I'm finding it difficult to make time for it with an infant. I try to take five walks a week so that I don't fall into sedentary patterns at home. In the new year, I plan to leave the baby with his grandma for a few hours a week, so that I can go to an aerobics class and to the gym.0 -
I also would like to join. My name is Jen, I am 5'7 and 190. I would like to drop 25-30 pounds. I am married and have a 12 yr old boy. I lack in the motivation dept. I will get going really good and then something upsets my routine and it's back to square one. I just want to feel comfortable in my own skin and currently I do not. Hi! I would love to join as well. My name is Melissa, am 45, 5'6" and have recently climbed to 180. A couple years ago I had gotten down to 155 and was so happy with myself. Now I look in the mirror and just see failure. I have a high stress profession and spend long hours sitting at a desk. I'm in too. I am 49 and will be 50 in October 2016. I think being fit will make it less depressing. I am married for the second time for eight years. I have a 21 year old son who is a senior in college and a 23 year old stepson.
I run my own real estaste and property management company from home, which enables me to be here for my Mom who is not well, but doesn't require full time care.
I have lost six lbs so far and would like to lose about 10 lbs more.
Interesting fact: I donated a kidney to my husband in February of this year. We were a perfect match.0 -

I'm 5'2" about 160 lbs. I would live to join. I don't know if I can lose two pounds a week (new mom and bemreastfeeding). But my baby is 9 weeks old and I've only lost 4 pounds since coming home. I can't restrict my calories too much but need motivation to make healthy choices instead of easy choices.0

Hey - feel free to add I need help along my path - I never put myself first, (my family comes first) but 2016 is going to be my year and I need to sort my eating habits and exercise regime..... When your partner turns around and says - 'you're getting fat!' (heart is torn from your chest) 'you never put yourself first' (but my children and you are always cared for!) 'you need routine as it's all fat, you trained so hard for your half marathon and haven't done anything in months, and it shows!' (sobbing by now as I work full time, I'm study a CIPD as well as caring for two small children) Any new friends, advice and help is so very welcome. This group maybe all I need!
