What's The Most DISGUSTING Food Item You've Tasted On Your Weightloss / Fitness Journey?

I haven't met many foods I didn't like but....
Celery - really not worth the effort.
Tofu - a very weird texture, even for me!

Id have to say protein powder.0
-
Quest protein "potato" chips0
-
Plain nonfat greek yogurt, eaten straight from the container. I can't do it. I need to mix banana or other fruit or a teaspoon or two of peanut butter in with it.
Although I must say, I am okay with the protein powder that I have. That surprises me, because I was always gagged from protein powders years ago. I guess maybe the one I have has enough sugar in it to make it palatable.0 -

I'm glad it's not just me. I tried a butternut squash soup recipe and it was also horrible. I forced myself to finish my bowl (because I'd already counted the calories and was at work and didn't have anything else for dinner) but thought I was going to throw up by the last few bites. The rest of the pot got fed to our hog. He loved it.0 -

Same here. I love anko-flavored desserts, but black bean brownies? I might as well make meatloaf brownies.
Have you had em?0 -
I actually have had the black-bean brownies and they were pretty good! This was before I was trying to eat healthier. Someone brought them to a potluck and I had to try them out of curiosity.0

This. I used it to help increase breast milk supply. That stuff is so nasty. Baked into lactation cookies it wasn't so bad....but I can't stomach it straight or in a smoothie.0 -

Nope, but I suppose I could try...
They don't taste like meatloaf brownies. They taste like chocolate. Because they are.
It simply uses beans instead of wheat.0 -
Cottage cheese, that stuff grosses me out haha.0

I haven't had anything disgusting since losing weight but the absolute most disgusting thing I have ever put in my mouth was a boiled peanut. I actually had to spit it out, it was so bad. How do people even eat them? *shiver*
Peanuts should NOT be mushy unless they are turned into peanut butter.
I've had to eat food I really don't like before, but I never spit it out.0 -

I've made both, but used stevia instead0 -

Stevia! I just cant0

Oh I forgot... chamomile. I remember my dietitian giving me a concoction of herbs to drink when I lost weight 15 years ago, and it just made me throw up. Absolutely can't stand the stuff.0

The absolute worst. Cannot say enough horrible things about them.0 -
Liquid Stevia. I added way too much to my oatmeal one morning and COULD NOT get the taste out of my mouth. Ugh!
Not a fan of dates either. The skin! The squish! I can't.0 -
Cashew milk in coffee. Absolutely disgusting.0
-
Besides the cultured soy (which works well in place of sour cream though), I can't stand some protein powders. I'll admit that I like Vega sport protein but only with good unsweetened soy milk other wise it's gritty and disgusting.0
-
I almost threw up trying to drink Vega sport vanilla protein powder with water. I won some in a contest and don't mind whey so I tried it. I instantly switched back to whey lol0
-
Liver. Needed it to get my iron up, tried everything I could but the smell, texture, everything about it was repulsive. Usually I'm not picky when it comes to food, too...0
-
Pea protein cocoa pancakes, tasted like burnt rubber in my mouth. No amount of honey + sugar or anything could nullify the taste of those bad boys
Just manages to beat Pea protein + coffee. I mixed 30g of the pea protein with my coffee. Most of it ended up on the bottom forming a sluggish coffee pea mix. Did not want to waste it so forced myself to eat it. Came oh so close to vomiting.0
