your successes: I have become more active, purchased a step tracker, and log what I eat daily using this app.
and struggles: I am not great about eating vegetables. I have a HUGE issue with putting Way too much food on my plate at each meal and eating Very Fast. I need to slow down and watch my portion sizes but it is very difficult for me.

My weight loss for 2015 was great, I started in March but took a few breaks here and there for vacations/holidays. Hoping to shed the last of it in 2016!0 -

Got slowed down on my journey by needing foot surgery and have been trapped at home since October and only just getting towards being able to walk again unaided.

Struggles: I don't eat meals. I supplement meals with snacks. I've been small all my life and after having my baby I just can't get the weight off. On top of eating snacks for breakfast lunch and dinner. I don't eat breakfast food or lunch or dinner meals. Id rather eat a bag of Doritos then to sit down and eat a meal and I'm constantly sad about it. I want to do better and be better for me and my two boys. I can't keep eating snacks like they're meals.0 -

Total weight lost: I've lost about 14lbs by cutting down on portion size and being a bit more wise about what i'm eating. Decided to make myself more accountable by getting back to MFP and then finding this thread, as the closer I get to my goal, I know it's going to be harder to lose!

Total weight lost: 50, give or take over the past year and a half.
Struggles: Last five pounds have been S L O W.... And if I eat a bit over or at maintenance for a day, or even have one meal that's way over I will throw off any progress.
I am proud that I only gained 1.2 pounds over the holiday gatherings of the past two weeks (I was down to 129.2 two weeks ago). I hope to lose at least two pounds this month, but 5 would be great. It's these last 5 pounds that are giving me trouble. I am so close to goal, but for example I only managed to lose a half a pound in a month. I guess that's the way it goes when you are this close. I keep saying I'm just not going to eat back exercise calories, but that is so few calories that I net that I don't think I can keep that up, but we'll see.0 -

Water weight going away is always the start. But it is a start...
dramaqueen45 - you are awesome! I hope to achieve that well. Try switching up when you eat more,( i.e.more at breakfast. Less at dinner or vise versa) I hear switching up routines is the way to break the plateaus. Been a while since I have been on one, but that is what I remember. You got this.....0 -

As you can see I have only just started (again). Apparently I need to lose 12.6 kilos to get into the 'healthy weight'.
I struggle to eat healthily during the winter months - much prefer to sit snacking on salty foods (crisps, nuts etc). Summer is so much easier with salads and the like. This is the first time I have tried to lose weight in the winter.
My aim is to log onto here and post every week rather than get lazy and 'forget'.
My 2nd aim is to keep walking - spent Christmas in Spain this year and got my steps up to 12 thou a day. Back home now and struggling to get over 5 thou
