Total weight lost: 50, give or take over the past year and a half.
Struggles: Last five pounds have been S L O W.... And if I eat a bit over or at maintenance for a day, or even have one meal that's way over I will throw off any progress.
I am proud that I only gained 1.2 pounds over the holiday gatherings of the past two weeks (I was down to 129.2 two weeks ago). I hope to lose at least two pounds this month, but 5 would be great. It's these last 5 pounds that are giving me trouble. I am so close to goal, but for example I only managed to lose a half a pound in a month. I guess that's the way it goes when you are this close. I keep saying I'm just not going to eat back exercise calories, but that is so few calories that I net that I don't think I can keep that up, but we'll see.0 -

Water weight going away is always the start. But it is a start...
dramaqueen45 - you are awesome! I hope to achieve that well. Try switching up when you eat more,( i.e.more at breakfast. Less at dinner or vise versa) I hear switching up routines is the way to break the plateaus. Been a while since I have been on one, but that is what I remember. You got this.....0 -

As you can see I have only just started (again). Apparently I need to lose 12.6 kilos to get into the 'healthy weight'.
I struggle to eat healthily during the winter months - much prefer to sit snacking on salty foods (crisps, nuts etc). Summer is so much easier with salads and the like. This is the first time I have tried to lose weight in the winter.
My aim is to log onto here and post every week rather than get lazy and 'forget'.
My 2nd aim is to keep walking - spent Christmas in Spain this year and got my steps up to 12 thou a day. Back home now and struggling to get over 5 thou
