It's a new year! Start it off right!!
The challenge is to exercise a total of 24 hours in the month of January. Time to get moving!

Thanks Christina, hope you had a fab time out of town! So, we probably all put on a couple of pounds over Xmas and didn't do quite as much exercise so now the challenge is on to get straight back on it for the new year!
I've set myself a goal to hit 40 hours in the gym for January, here we go!
1st Jan: Oh my, what a headache - no gym for me today, not a good start to the year!
2nd Jan: 1 hour body pump and 1 hour spinning
3rd Jan: 1 hour spinning and 1 hour circuits.
Total for January and for 2016 so far: 4 hours.0 -
My primary goal for 2016 is SPEED. I will, as always, do my best to follow the schedule laid out for me by my coach each week. I want to get faster, and try to qualify for USAT Nationals.0

May: 361.81 km (224.8 miles) = 35 hours 50 min

Jan 1 - First bicycle ride of the New Year!! 38.4 km ... should be almost enough to burn off all the cinnamon rolls I made and ate. (120 min)
Jan 2 - 52.06 km with 613 metres of climbing. Plus wind. Plus ... surprisingly chilly. My feet were quite cold when I got in. (160 min)
Plus 0.6 km walk to get shortbread cookie making supplies. (7 min)
Jan 3 - 32.8 km!! And that brings 8 days in a row of cycling to an end. (100 min)
I was kind of hoping to do a flat route, and the first 20 km wasn't too bad, but then it got hilly. Oh well, I'm starting to get used to that.
Plus 1 km walk. (12 min)

This sounds like a great challenge...especially since I am starting on the fourth. I do a lot of cross training, so this is going to be a fun group to report to!

Hi all! I'd like to join! Have been sick for about a week but just getting back into the rhythm of things and think I can catch up:
01/03: Downhill skiing = 2 hours
01/07: Run = 20 minutes
01/08: Run = 20 minutes
Total Week 1 = 2 hours, 40 minutes (recovering from this cold/flu definitely took a toll!)0 -
