Coffee with some creamer, sandwich made with one slice of white bread (it's big bread), 2oz roast turkey lunch meat, 1/2 ounce full fat cheddar cheese, some mayo, mustard, slice of onions and lettuce, 1 tangerine, and 1 serving of kettle brand baked sea salt chips.

ETA: I like to save my calories for dinner. I grew up in a house where dinner was the main meal. I eat a small breakfast, a reasonable lunch, then a big dinner, and fruit for dessert if I feel like I need it. No snacking between daytime meals so I can have those calories for dinner.

I am the SAME way!!!!! I love late snacking!

me too! My calorie goal is 1500 without exercise. Its not unusual for me to hit 5/6pm and still have 1000-1200 calories left.

I know im going to eat after dinner...might as well do what i can to keep within my calories!

Roasted Squash and some Barbeque Potatoes. Still cooking, so I didn't weigh out my portion yet (though I prelogging it). Looking good (and this will put me over in calories because I poorly spent over 1000 calories on treats and licks and bites). There's tomorrow, right?

A can of Amy's low sodium split pea soup with a half-teaspoon of Tabasco, with half a North Country Smokehouse andouille sausage cut up in it, with 11 ounces of skim milk. 450 calories, 34 protein, and a whopping 1093 of sodium, but tons of vitamins and some fiber too. I am adjusting dinner to keep my sodium under 1500. Yummy, spicy and filling, and emotionally satisfying on a cold winter day.

Today's lunch was a giant bowl of homemade beef-barley soup.
My husband had smoked a prime rib and I made the soup using the leftovers. Lots of veggies, and a rich slightly smoky taste. Thankfully I made a huge pot because we can't get enough of this soup!
