Its sooo not my thing. Hes probably totally good looking, but this would be the extent of our exchange:

Hey youre probably cute without the beard.

    GTFO.

    Lol

I like that guy's style. The glasses, the shirt, the chucks, the brown pants which I think are Dickey's, all clean man.

Btw, why is he facing the same direction as the traffic? Shouldn't he be facing the drivers? (Well, maybe someone was undecided until they drove past him and finally called him out to buy some before the light turned green.)

Youre right! Clearly, they dont live in southern california. Youre doing it all wrong man!

Well that is a California license plate coming up behind him.... Wait. What kind of vehicle do you drive? :)

Hey, he's got a point. Good eye.

Paddle down the LA river, all romantic and shyt. I can't let you borrow the kayak cuz how are you two gonna make out? It's gotta be some some sort of Ariel/Prince Eric set-up where you're both facing each other.

haha!! The river is flowing now! Give me that boat, id be to LB in like 15 mins.

No way, kchusky is married, you married pervert.

    LB, LA river. SoCal?

Yeah, LA river. It flows out to LB, no?!

    edit:

Sorry, just realized everyone isnt from southern california lol... the Los Angeles river flows out to Long Beach, Ca.

Yes, it flows to LB. Little dirty to be floating in though. Same with the Santa Ana in to HB

So clearly youre from so cal? or you are really good at using your google machine.

hahaha!!! That is amazing, and precisely what I would envision happening!!! I know better then to do something as tragic as asking a man to shave his beard, just as I would never cut my hair.

Yeah don't ever cut your hair.

When I was walking home from college this last semester I had some guy in a red buggy honk and scream at me. He followed me for about half a mile before I took out my phone, then he drove off. It was flattering for like... 5 seconds. Now I walk with my keys between my knuckles. Im not exactly eager to get hit on again anytime soon LOL

Here on MFP I used to until I had to tell people to calm down and make a line.... lol just kidding.

Not sure about other guys, but I don't think we get hit on that frequently (offline). Online is a whole different story. MFP is know for the flirting, so it does happen a lot.

I call *kitten* on this. You are - you just don't realize it.

For being a fat chick, surprisingly, yeah. Most of the time it's by the employees at videogame stores where I shop, etc. It isn't constant but I would expect it to happen never, but it happens occasionally.

From a man's perspective, and I hope this is helpful and does not come off as insulting in any way...

Your current profile pic paints an image of a woman who thinks she is really something special - probably more special that any potential suitor thinks he is. Your facial expression appears to be of one of superiority. That is intimidating to men, and a turn off. I am sure it is not intentional, and may just be your normal expression, but the tightly pursed lips and facial expression may be off putting to men. Unfortunately, some of us have a normal expression that does not accurately convey our inner feelings - and this may be the case with you. Another example here. This is a woman who is telling me she does not want to be approached.

However, this is picture of an approachable woman. In other words - perhaps a good amount of genuine smiles will make men feel more comfortable in approaching you.

To be fair to the OP our photos are often not our expressions in a regular environment, however I get what you are saying. I think lots of us have this problem, as we are unaware of what we look like on the daily when not posing for pics. With me sometimes I think I am smiling in a pic and when I look I look mad. I don't know how to soften the features on the face I was born with.

I get hit on pretty frequently, but only when I'm out with the girls/sans boyfriend.
(Probably because the fella is a giant Dwayne Johnson-esque bald Samoan, and people don't tend to disrespect. :D )

I don't have an amazing body, but I have an approachable face (which sometimes blows; 'please, tell me more about your 19 grandchildren while we're in this grocery store line..') and smile a lot. :/

Some people get shot for having strong worthwhile opinions. But history and the world remembers them.

Nobody remembers critics, and pompous, self serving bores. lol.

Are you going to meet with the guy to practice? Maybe he's not hitting on you in a sexual way... More of a respect for your grace and athleticism way... If this is the guy you are now thinking was flirting.

Hubs says he was. And another was a bit creepy I thought.
I really want to meet up with this guy he was really good and knew his stuff. He did Kind of wait until I was away from hubs and he was away from his wife to offer this assistance though but hey I'll take any help

Closest coffee shop to my work is in a mall. I walk in, and I could feel all the stares following me to the coffee shop, all the way back until I leave the mall. And I swear I'm not walking provocative or nude. It's weird!
