Success is that i still logged everything.

Successes/struggles this week:
I have been quite surprised at my will power so far this year! I have been refusing the biscuits and cake brought into work.
I was at my SO's parents' house for one day the last two weeks for dinner and I refused all the desert options they had as well.
I am actually really enjoying eating less and moving more! I have also stopped driving to work and getting public transport instead, which means 1 hour of walking per day
(BTW - loving the January Blogilates calender )
Struggles are that my anaemia has reappeared with a vengeance, as well as my psoriasis, so I'm pretty exhausted all of the time. Hopefully I can get it under control for the rest of the month.0 -
Do people ever put in their weight? I mean, does anyone participate in the challenge? Or can I just not see it, because I have not joined yet?0

On the plus side, I've done a great variety of exercise this week (dance class, running, aquarobics, yoga, walking, circuits), and have been consistently active.0 -

Successes/struggles this week: since Tuesday I've had some pretty intense thoughts of quitting. I know it's wrapped up in severe PMS, but this is when it gets hard. I start looking in the mirror and hating what I see, where as the rest of the month I'm pretty positive. Does anyone else have extreme PMS?
I did make healthy choices and yesterday when I forgot to unfreeze some meat for supper, we got bundled up and walked to the grocery store. Normally we would have said screw it and ordered in curry.
Haven't added any excersize but I have volunteered to clean the walk way at work of snow on my breaks. Keeps me moving.

Successes/struggles this week: Ugh! This has been a tough week for me. Just didn't feel like doing much for the first three days after my long run on Sunday. Yesterday, I finally made it back on the treadmill and did 5 miles. However, it could have been a lot worse and I feel good that I made myself get back in the game.

Struggling with not breaking my scale this morning! I have been walking on my treadmill for about an hour or more every day. I've logged everything (even weighing food now!). I've been trying to drink more water, but I still need to get more in. It's very good progress so far. I think my husband is even starting to notice!!0 -

Successes/struggles this week: I am still not always back in full control of what I am doing. sometimes I simply forget to eat well. still, I am getting used to it again. need to cut down calories a bit more I think but all in all I am on the right track. I hope. Canteen food usually is good at my job but not always very healthy or low calorie. I usually ask for small portions but they are still rather big and I cannot really estimate the calories. I try to bring in lunch as often as I can but my time planning is rather tight in the mornings as I am trying to fit in exercises now against my back ache and the kids always come up with very important last minute stuff (like which episode of bugs bunny are they allowed to watch and can someone put it on, pleeeeeeaaaase!). cooking in advance over the whole week doesn't work for me at all. I tried and I felt disgusted after a few days. I know that the food doesn't go bad or so but unfortunately this is how my mind works. anyway, I am working on making eating carefully a new normality for me and will succeed eventually0 -

Name: Wendy Laubach
Age: 59
Height: 5'5"
Original Weight (early November 2015): 245
Start Weight (1st December 2015): 236
Start Weight (1st January): 218
Goal Weight (1st February): 200
Target Weight: 120
1st January: 218
8th January: 217.4
15th January: 214.0 (31 lbs. down total!)
22nd January:
29th January:
1st February:
Weight lost/gained this week: 3.4 lbs lost
Weight lost/gained this month: 4.0 lbs lost
Successes/struggles this week: My loss rate picked up a bit, which is very encouraging, though it seems unlikely I'll lose another 14 lbs in 2 weeks to hit my too-ambitious goal, :-). What was I thinking, to aim at more than 2 lbs/week? I know better. A foot injury is keeping me off the treadmill, so my challenge is to go to the gym anyway and do strength training on other parts of the body. Cardio can wait until my foot will bear hard impacts again. I'm finding my new calorie goal of 1400 pretty easy to hit consistently without hunger or psychic pain. Must be getting used to this!0
