I just saw a January running challenge, and contemplated joining it, but I'm really not a runner. I do like to walk though so a quick search turned up this thread. I'm definitely in! I've been slowly getting back into MFP over the last week after months away, and I feel like I'm ready to tackle this new year. I may even go for a walk tomorrow! awesome.

            Hello everyone, what a wonderful way to keep each other motivated. Last Monday I started at MFP, so far lost 6 lbs!!! and I have a track, a Razer NabuX. I will start today to monitor my steps for real. Last week was warming up for the real work! How do I keep this Challenge saved? Have a nice day everybody. In Holland, as in the Netherlands, the wheather is great for a walk today: last night freezing, but the sun is shining!0

            01/18/2016 2 miles, 4am, 8 degrees, headlamp and YakTrax, double layers on lower half, triple layers on top half.
 I would love to put in more miles, just too cold outside right now. Windchill brings it down into the -10/-15 area. On the upside, I saw that gas prices in Houghton (northern MI) went down to $.47/gallon! How crazy is that?!

 Right above the topic, on the right, (should be above the number of pages), there is a little star. When you click that star, it will turn gold and this topic will be saved.             I recently started wearing my Jawbone again ... count me in even though it's the 14th already.
 I do most of my walking around the house, I try to get up and move at least once an hour. I also try to walk 30 or more minutes while watching Netflix. I haven't been walking as much as I was before the holidays which was 8000 - 10000 a day. I will get there again!
