    Not personally. You may want to consider capsules instead of powder or try micronized creatine, both tend to be more gentle if you experience bloating.

    Honestly I don't find you helpful or funny. I do appreciate all the advice given and I'm not an idiot at the gym, nor am I a fool with my money. I would never buy a product until others recommend it. I found out CREATINE is worthy. So wouldn't there be others aswell?

    Creatine is one of a select few supplements that are beneficial (caffeine and protein powers (which contain BCAAs are the others).

    Creatine does not bloat you. But it did cause me severe GI issues when I took it.

    Why do you bloat, is it because the water rush, I can always drink alittle less than. Also I went from 250 pounds to 190. I'd really like to stay at 190 and tone up. Perhaps if I used creatine should I also increase my cardio

    Some people bloat due to stomach sensitivity, too large of a dose or not enough water. You don't have to start cardio when you start creatine, please go read this:

    On the plus side, if you do have bloating and weight gain from creatine, it means you're definitely a responder. You apparently can get the benefits without side effects, but you can't get the side effects without the benefits.

    Nutrition will also affect how much a supplement can help.
    BecomingBane is a vegan, and I usually ate vegetarian 5 days a week, so both of us are more likely to see improvement from creatine (carnivorous / omniviours diets can get some from the muscle tissue in meat, particularly beef), and from beta alanine (since it is normally derived from carnosine that only can come from animal protein).

    I take C4, mainly for the caffeine, though now that I'm more used to coffee, I'll probably switch to that when out of C4.

    It comes down to biology and homeostatis. Almost anything that could make a massive change in how your body works would disrupt a lot of things - so many that you'd want to be under a physician's care to take it, which is kind of the whole way and reason we do medicine under prescriptions in most of the world.

    Oh, I'm a super responder, most likely due to the reasons senecarr listed above. Creatine makes me thirsty as hell for a few days if I've stopped taking it and I instantly gain about 5-7lbs in water weight, which takes about 2 weeks to dissipate... I also see some endurance gains when I'm supplementing regularly, but it doesn't really improve my load numbers, which I wouldn't expect it to do. At best I get a few extra reps.

    C4 is the same for me... just caffeine, but I prefer it over coffee at that time of day... just a flavor thing. I've moved on to Mr. Hyde currently... a bit stronger... but still just caffeine.

    Yeah, if you're practically already saturated, your body isn't going to build a creatine warehouse in your muscles for the extra.

    Following upon that premise, anything which significantly boosts test (to an extent that would be in any way useful for building muscles) has very significant side effects - some of which are potentially lethal. Which is why any "supplement" on the market which claims to boost test or stimulate hypertrophy is full of BS.     OP, your contention that "creatine works, so shouldn't there be others?" is exactly what the supplement industry loves. Most people who believe that way will try almost anything based upon bogus advertising hype, which is why the supplement industry is a multi-billion dollar fraud machine. 99.9% of the "supplements" sold are junk which will do nothing beneficial - or some that will have maybe the tiniest effect which is really only useful to those who are right on the bleeding edge of their genetic potential and looking for every last insignificant little edge they can squeak out.

    Others have suggested it and I'll suggest it again - go to examine.com and do your own research. You seem to think (very wrongly, I might add) that nobody here knows anything about anything and that nobody who has responded to you has ever picked up a weight or studied anything about nutrition, fitness or physiology, so go do the research yourself. Examine.com is an independent research/analysis site which has no affiliations with any supplement company, so they're not pimping garbage they're trying to simultaneously sell. The information there is backed by science and they cite peer-reviewed studies which provide evidence of what they're saying. Don't listen to anybody here since you seem to think it's a waste of time, go do the research yourself.

    Do you need a preworkout? Many just take it because......well everyone else is. My personal opinion is that if someone is getting adequate rest and meeting their macro/micronutrient needs, then really just a burst or caffeine should do ya. The rest is just hype.

    I don't need the caffeine. I have to much energy as it is lol
    I'm not interested in an energy boost
    I want something to help me lift weights.

    I have been struggling for years due to a shoulder injury and I can only bench press 135lbs. I use to life over 200lbs

    I'm not interested in steroids or anything illegal. I have no desire to hurt my body or take drugs. But are there no legal supplements to help boost your testosterone or give you a boost when I'm at the gym.
    If you have a shoulder injury, then IMO you shouldn't be bench pressing. Flat bench pressing isn't great for the shoulders which is why many heavy benchers HAVE shoulder issues.
    Redefine your goals: are you just trying to lift heavy weights for ego? Are you trying to improve your physique? Are you trying to improve your strength? If it's strength, then opt for exercisers that strengthen without compromising an injury.

    I had surgery over two years ago. I went down to benching 100lbs now I can do 3 sets of 10 of 135lb on my chest days, I've even got one set of 10 of 145! I know it takes time. I recently returned to the gym last February. It's not a big jump but I went from 100lbs to 135lbs on the bench and I feel I'm getting stronger. My should clicks and pops but nothing I can't handle. It would be nice if there was anything I could use to help me focus, feel more testosterone and get a pump for a better maybe alil harder work out.

    I've had 6 shoulder operations (combination of traumatic injuries and overuse/posture from a long time desk job on a computer) . If you have a shoulder issue, all the testosterone in the world isn't going to make it any better.

    I'm saying test boosters won't do anything. Illegal steroids work because they involve elevating testosterone by 2X normal or more (or for test similar molecules, they react equivalent to raising test that much). Nothing that will stay legal is going to do that kind of change in test, so a test booster is worthless.

    If you want to feel more of the "pump" during lifting, anecdotal some people feel more blood flow from things like beta alanine and nitric oxide precursers (like arginine) but it isn't going to replace proper technique and properly functioning shoulder joints.

    I know weight lifting and training is a skill and should be taken with caution. I work out 4xs a week and have been doing so since last February. I love working out, I just hate when I'm on set 3 or 4 and at rep 5/6 I struggle and can't finish. I Always here people taking about what there on or how pumped they feel. I know there's no magic pill, it's me and working out. I go light enough not to hurt myself but heavy enough to build up my muscle. I just want to take something to help keep my pump up and want to finish my sets.

    If you can't get to the goal number of reps, most likely your weight is too high. Drop the weight and work up, especially if you have a bad shoulder.

    Any recommendations
    Do you need a preworkout? Many just take it because......well everyone else is. My personal opinion is that if someone is getting adequate rest and meeting their macro/micronutrient needs, then really just a burst or caffeine should do ya. The rest is just hype.

    So many red flags.

    Rushing weight and volume on bench with a surgically repaired shoulder is a generally bad idea. Clicks and pops isn't something you "handle", it's something that causes problems later if you continue pushing through.

    Are you doing any re/prehab or strengthening work on your shoulder (under the guidance of a professional)?

    Creatine is about the only thing that is going to help and that help is minimal. It's time for you to invest in a high quality trainer.

    I'm not interested in wast wing money on a trainer.
    I have a best friend who's a food and fitness instructor and her boyfriend is a personal trainer. Aside from that I've taken weight training in high school and college, wrestled, played baseball, basket ball and football, so I know plenty of work outs and routines. My problem is my body and the wear and tear it has taken. I'm looking for aomething to help give me that boost. Creatine isn't great, I've tried it and think it's ok, just bloats me with water, I want muscle not water lol

    My trainer has been far from a waste. Investing in training has done more for me than any supplement will ever do. Personalized instruction can help recovery and help you build muscle. You can keep throwing money at supplements in hopes that they will be a band-aid solution or you can fix the problem with one on one training.

    I already have a trainer and food and nutrition specialist. Throwing money away on supplements? There's a reason so many guys take supplements at the gym, it's so they get bigger. I think I'd have much more help from body building men, I'm not new to the gym in anyway so I don't need training advice, thank but it's not the help I'm looking to get

    You know the reason people throw so much money at supplements? Hope and dreamz. Know how many supplements are proven to make you bigger (to any meaningful degree)? Not many. Close enough to none. And those that do are usually dangerous or eventually banned (think prohormones).
