The new C4 formula is weak imo. I use the Beachbody performance line preworkout as has no artificial junk in it.
Lol, kinda of an oxymoron statement because it's a processed product.

How about figuring out what is lacking in your diet or sleep pattern that you feel you need this stuff to go to the gym

Quite the contrary. You received the most useful advice possible: consult with a trainer, preferably a sports rehab / physical therapy specialist, to fix your shoulder problem. Barring that, any substance that's really going to do anything your shoulders isn't going to be for sale at a GNC.

No I have not. I asked about C4 and CLA I already have a trainer and a sports Medicin Doctor. The problem is people ver off the question at hand which was asking about safe or any Usuall suppliments for gym use. You have yet to mention a single one. No help

I have some beans I'll sell you that give giant strength. $50, I'll mail it to you.

Funny...I actually eat jelly beans when I am working out for a quick boost of energy. lol But not for $50.00.

@jakeziskin1 What everyone is trying to tell you is that the C4 and CLA will not make a difference in your progress. Trust the tracking, workouts and process. The people making these comments are experienced and have knowledge. All will be good.

I'm sorry, but there's just no magic solution. There's no supplement or combination that's going to help you. We've tried to help make this clear. I'm going to leave you with the best tool that I know and hopefully it will help you. Maybe you can find something that will give you what you are looking for.

No most the people making these comments are not experienced. I already knew the advice on healthy living, eating, sleeping and so on. I do appreciate the advice, but I have gotten no help. Personally I have used creatine MONOHYDRATE and noticed an increase in weight lifting, I was just asking about other helpful products. They all can't be scamed products and some from my experience have worked wonders.

Not experienced? Someone who holds world records in powerlifting and is a competitive body builder is way more experienced than you are but for some reason you are stuck on finding a quick fix that doesn't exist legally

There's this not widely known thing that some companies do called supplement doping. The first few batches of products will contain steroids or other banned substances to ensure people see improvement. Later batches will not contain them, but by that point everyone swears that they work. They get away with it because by the time someone is suspicious of the product the company has the non-doped formula in production.

Actually, most of the people in this thread are very experience in lifting and fitness. The thing is, very few supplements actually provide you any additional boost in performance and yes, they 99.9% of supplements are sold based off of crappy science. Take some time and read up in examine.com. They can walk you through and have links to almost all of the supplements.

One thing to consider, not everyone actually response to many of the supplements. For example, caffeine and creatine monohydrate have very high success rates and effectiveness rates, but only for about 75% of the population.

But even so, there are so many other factors that need to be addressed prior to these supplements actually providing a quantitative effect. Calories/macros, training routine, rest, etc... And the reason you see so many highly experienced lifters taking supplements, is because they are trying to get that extra 0.5% advantage based on preliminary research. So honestly, if you don't have all other aspects addressed, then supplements are generally going to be a waste.

BTW, C4 is mostly carbs and caffeine. Where @USMCMP discussed her benefit from gummy worms, that is because they context dextrose, which is the fasting digesting sugar, which is going to help replenish glycogen, which is going to help support her workout.

Yes, Oxyelite worked due to it being spiked just like Jack3D and many others.

I suggested creatine on page one. The link I gave you earlier will tell you that creatine is a solid supplement and the most tested one out there. I personally only use that and GABA. GABA helps me sleep better and although it is said to possibly contribute to test levels they haven't been able to prove it actually impacts muscle or performance.

Not personally. You may want to consider capsules instead of powder or try micronized creatine, both tend to be more gentle if you experience bloating.

Why do you bloat, is it because the water rush, I can always drink alittle less than. Also I went from 250 pounds to 190. I'd really like to stay at 190 and tone up. Perhaps if I used creatine should I also increase my cardio

Most people from these posts are no help lol take care everyone

Wow get out of here? So is that why suppliments leave the market like Oxyelite pro? I never knew they lied to us like that. I appreciate the advice you have given me! So do you also not like CREATINE MONOHYDRATE is that to a gimmic?

Yes, Oxyelite worked due to it being spiked just like Jack3D and many others.

I suggested creatine on page one. The link I gave you earlier will tell you that creatine is a solid supplement and the most tested one out there. I personally only use that and GABA. GABA helps me sleep better and although it is said to possibly contribute to test levels they haven't been able to prove it actually impacts muscle or performance.

I to take GABA. Il look at your link. Thank you again. Also doesn't CREATINE bloat you?

Creatine does not bloat you. But it did cause me severe GI issues when I took it.

    GI issues? What's thay

Some people bloat due to stomach sensitivity, too large of a dose or not enough water. You don't have to start cardio when you start creatine, please go read this:

Its a joke. :) lighten up

Honestly I don't find you helpful or funny. I do appreciate all the advice given and I'm not an idiot at the gym, nor am I a fool with my money. I would never buy a product until others recommend it. I found out CREATINE is worthy. So wouldn't there be others aswell?

Creatine is one of a select few supplements that are beneficial (caffeine and protein powers (which contain BCAAs are the others).

Are BCAAs just amino acids? Or should I buy a container of that to, C4 had a brand

All you need to know about BCAA: https://examine.com/supplements/branched-chain-amino-acids/

On the plus side, if you do have bloating and weight gain from creatine, it means you're definitely a responder. You apparently can get the benefits without side effects, but you can't get the side effects without the benefits.

Nutrition will also affect how much a supplement can help.
BecomingBane is a vegan, and I usually ate vegetarian 5 days a week, so both of us are more likely to see improvement from creatine (carnivorous / omniviours diets can get some from the muscle tissue in meat, particularly beef), and from beta alanine (since it is normally derived from carnosine that only can come from animal protein).

I take C4, mainly for the caffeine, though now that I'm more used to coffee, I'll probably switch to that when out of C4.

It comes down to biology and homeostatis. Almost anything that could make a massive change in how your body works would disrupt a lot of things - so many that you'd want to be under a physician's care to take it, which is kind of the whole way and reason we do medicine under prescriptions in most of the world.
