I got 2 compliments the other day on my runs. I was at the store when 2 different employees at 2 different times told me they see me out all the time running and asked how far I go. I said 'eh usually only about 3-4 miles 4-5 times a week". Both stared at me in disbelief and said "ONLY 3-4 MILES?!" Its nice that my mind now thinks that anything under 6 miles really isn't that far anymore17

When I started, I was busting out of size 24 jeans. Last night I was able to slide down my size 10 jeans without unbuttoning them. My goal is size 8, guess I'm almost there!29

Participated in an organized +20km hike in the Netherlands today and had to get a medium sized T-shirt ! Bonus - the T shirt is really, really nice! No more silly big T-shirts for me!!15

1. My hairstylist (who I've been going to for years) said I needed to wear my hair shorter because it was starting to overpower my face, which is getting smaller.
2. I actually had not noticed my face had gotten smaller, so I asked my husband, and he said he'd been noticing my butt was getting smaller!20 -
Bought my fourth belt in nine months. Each one has been 4 inches shorter than the one before.23

It sounds like you're there and possibly slightly past. You might want to go shopping.5 -

Hubby went running off to grab his phone while I was doing squats last night - he said he had to take a picture to show me something. I figured I was favoring one side or doing something wrong so he wanted me to be able to see it. No, he wanted to show me my back muscles at work - I couldn't believe how muscular my back was. I made him confirm that it really was muscle. At 51, I've never been this into strength training and am regularly surprised when I notice some gains but I never get to see my back.29

Gorgeous! You rocked that dress!1 -
I have pulled my belt in another notch (cannot wear my jeans without the belt anymore). Also, I did a volunteer gig yesterday. They had t-shirts for us to wear. I grabbed a large instead of my standard xl and the large fit just fine.11

Scale has not been cooperating so I took my measurements.
Neck is down 1.25 inches
Stomach is down 10 inches
Waist is down 4.5 inches
Thighs are both down 2 inches
Upper arms are both down 3.5 inches
Bust is down 2.5 inches
Under boobs (where you measure for your bra band) is down 3.25 inches
Butt is down 5 inches
Yay!20 -

Going to a family function (one of those rare events when everyone can 'reunion') completely stressing not wanting to offend my dad and sister by not eating their horribly unhealthy (but tastie) menu choices but i have to do this new life for me!!!! I had a self heart to heart..
It went like this...
Self: you are going to die if you dont finish your journey. Do you want to die? The whole just a "little wont hurt" ?!? hurt you for 20 god darn yrs. If you werent an addict maybe it would differant...
Self, Listen its you or everyone else. Who do you choose?!! If they say anything or make you feel bad for bringing your own food. Then you know. Self, you know you need to keep going and let them go. You are too effing fragile and are still forming.. Still learning how to walk.. To have any haters in your close close circle. Even if it's family Self? Everyone in this situation is smart. Everyone is over 300 lbs. everyone has their own journey. If it goes south? Well? Then you know that support for your new lifestyle isnt in their wheelhouse yet
When they are ready to join you? Help them
But self? Listen get your stuff packed, have your sweet but firm responses ready as to why you arent eating the corn bread and macaroni or sin chocolate cake and lets do this!!!
It might go okay? Self lets just see. Bring your food and hang out and see ❤️
My sisters jaw dropped when I broke out my salad. But she quickly closed it. Said nothing.
My dad only said please just try my potato clam chowder (i took a lick ) and that was it.
Strength achieved. One event at a time. My NSV.

1) Yesterday was my 3 month anniversary of successful maintenance.
2) Despite have a flair up of sciatica, I still have been able to exercise. yesterday was only 1 mile at 10 minutes longer then normal , and today was 2 trips of 1 mile each, and a but quicker (even if not back to my norm.) I am just happy to be able to get some exercise in.9 -

I've been really sick for the past 4 days and super stressed for an exam I have in Tuesday ( stress due being unable to study for 4 days!) but I managed to eat at maintenance on date night tonight instead of just binging like I normally would.
Tomorrow is a colleague's retirement lunch and it's at my favourite all you can eat chinese buffet. As a pre-emptive move, I've pre-logged what I will eat. Let's hope I can stick to it. (Usually I can't and will binge eat by eating 1500 more calories than I should)2
