I got a reduction. Went form a 34DDD to a 34C. One of the best things I've ever done!!!! I feel so much better!!! I can run!

Statistically women are far happier post reduction than with augmentation. Actually, I read that the highest rated (patient satisfaction wise) cosmetic surgery is actually breast reduction. NOT that reduction is always cosmetic of course.

Finally I'm very happy with my 34 A/B cups. And my boyfriend loves them, so that makes me happy also :) He calls mine "perfect" so I guess it doesn't get much better than it... LOL.

I have been pregnant 5 times. Nursed 5 kids for over a year each.. I NEED a boob job. Before having kids I was a natural 34 C. While BFing got up to a 36 E. After nursing barely a 34 B. Try doing that 5 times and see how "normal" your boobs look.
There is NOTHING attractive about it.
Mine will be reconstructive surgery. It's not all about wanting big boobies. Some of us just want normal ones.
And a point no one has brought up. How many women with breast implants, have you thought were natural?? If they are done really good how are you gonna know? Especially if they are porportioned to her body. I think alot of the "natural" boobs you all think you like are just REALLY good boob jobs.

Thank you! Not everyone is in a comfortable place to be like "yeah I bought mine..." because the whole point is to look natural.

As for the poster who went on google...LMAO. Why would you search google? How about someone like Dr Robert Cohen of Scottsdale AZ, Dr Tom Pousti of California, Dr Don Revis of Florida, Dr Vincent Pelletiere of Illinois...look at some REAL before/afters! Of course you are going to see 90% hack jobs on there because people usually post to google with problems. Not raving for the world to see their chest for free!

To the poster who says and the person who agreed about fake boobs feeling like a sandbag..or whatever. It's very rare that an implant would feel so hard. Here's some reasons it would:
1- choosing a high amount of overfill with saline implants
2-starting with zilch and choosing a large highly overfilled implant (not silicone, you can't overfill silicone)
3-if the patient has developed capsular contracture- hardening and thickening of scar tissue around the implant. Causing it to harden and can cause deformation. Chances of CC are usually under 3%, it all depends on the plastic surgeon.

In all reality I think a lot of people hate on fake boobs because they themselves are jealous or insecure, can't afford them or just have some I'll informed views/thoughts on them. The new silicone implants feel AMAZING and I can guarantee that if any of you felt one would not have anything negative to say. A lot of saline can be soft, all depends on the overfill. Of course you won't get the "pillowy/jiggly" however you want to describe natural breasts exact feeling or look but you can get pretty damn close! I have a lot of guy friends that will deny up and down in front of their ladies that fake boobs are great because the girls will get peeved about it. Until you have felt a good pair and seen a good pair then you can't bag on them. Google doesnt count or seeing a girl at the coffee shop who has them doesn't count.

Everyone is entitled their opinion on them but please have a valid point! I'm sure there are a lot more ladies than you think that have implants here and are just more private about it...

Anyone who says natural is best... Do you color your hair? Paint your nails? Cut your hair? Have piercings? Have tattoos? Had braces to fix your teeth? Contacts for your eyes? Worn colored contacts? Had fake nails on? What about padded bras?? Chicken cutlet inserts?? These things are all fake...I mean unnatural things people do. Why people look at implants AS such a wrong thing will always be beyond me. Don't get me wrong it's ok to disagree or not be all for it but till you've done your research- don't talk to me!

Ok I'm better...blowing off a bit of steam from other things here helps ;) but I meant what I said/typed!

Oh and to who said that women are more satisfied with a lift/reduction over implants...I call BS

A good 80% of women will get small implants to keep a normal/natural shape to their breasts after a lift or reduction. If your tissue however isn't stretched to kingdom come then they will be able to work and shape what you got. Actually I should have also added that most dr's will recommend a small implant to help with shaping. And when I say small, like really small but enough to make a difference.

I've done my research on boob everything because I needed to be informed of getting implants and future procedures that may be needed. Not all women will add implants for shaping because (like I said) their tissue was in good enough condition.

I have no difficulty believing that statistic to be true, because the ladies getting breast reductions are the ones whose breasts are SO huge as to be SUCH a pain in the neck (literally) that they're willing to get surgery to fix it. Of course they'd be happy after getting the proverbial millstone around their neck removed.

I've got huge ta-tas. They are SO much more trouble than they are worth. I can't wear button-down shirts. Forget about a one-piece swimsuit unless it's special-made (and therefore expensive). When my sister got married and the bridesmaid dress was a halter-top I had to wear a bra where the strap cut into my neck and the underwires cut into my stomach when I bent over. I have to be REALLY careful with the neckline on my shirts to avoid looking slutty/indecent. One of these days I'll probably get them reduced and when I do I'll probably wish I'd done it earlier. :p

Seriously, people, I've got traumatic memories of doing jumping jacks in gym class in junior high (yeah, early bloomer) in a WAY-too-flimsy bra. It's not fun. Grass is always greener, so on and so forth, yadda yadda. Back to your regularly scheduled thread.

    quite!

I was convinced everyone would be able to tell id had mine done, but in actual fact the vast majority of people havent noticed a thing. Ive had a couple of cousins give me a second glance but not say anything, but most people, even my own family seem oblivious, just because they fit my shape now, because i was always pear shaped and now am a bit more hourglass.

Most people who have a lift have a small implant too, as it gives a better shape

Well, first of all...Google Images isn't exactly a forum for complaining about breast implants. It's a cross section of a crapload if websites and images (including specific doctor's before and after shots), not just images of crappy implants. I didn't google 'botched implants'...I googled 'breast implants'. As for what I didnt' search...I didn't search specific doctors websites (by the way, I've seen Dr. Cohen's work first hand...bare, twice...I lived in Phoenix most of my life...I wasn't impressed whatsoever...and if it had been MY wife, we'd have got our money back), because NO doctor that wants to draw in business is going to post up his crappy looking breast augmentations for the world to see. He's going to put his best work up, and ONLY his best work.

Second, I'm sure quite a few women I pass on the street may very well have fake breasts and I would never notice. I never claimed that they can't look spectacular when covered...I clearly stated that in my experience, 90% or more of them look wrong when bare. Key words...my experience.

And finally, I don't hate on fake breasts...in the least. If you're proud of them I'm extremely happy for you, as happy as I would be for someone who got veneers to repair crooked or mishapen teeth, etc. The difference for me is that again, 90% or more of breast implants I've seen (again, BARE), aren't really attractive, and some are flat scary. I'm not saying yours are unattractive, nor am I saying anyone in this thread has unattractive breasts. I'm saying (again, being very clear) that with those kinds of odds...it would make me nervous for someone I was dating or married to, who didn't need them (breast cancer, etc) to get them. I'm not saying I wouldn't support her if she chose to do so...I'm saying that until the finished product was unveiled lol...I'd probably be having nightmares about the results =p. Too many examples of crappy ones out there...not enough examples of nice ones.

    Just saying.

My best friend wants to get a reduction, and she seriously needs it now. She is a size 2, always has been. But, her chest is a size 32DDD. She has been on meds like Flexoril for over a decade because she has insane back problems that only got worse when she had her kids. She has the hardest time buying clothes because nothing fits her properly. She has to go to a special store to buy a bathing suit because her top has to be sized for her cup size...and the bottom is typically and XS.

Anyone who thinks that a reduction is not a blessing to some women is living in a fantasy dream land!!!!!!!!

On the other hand, I am quite self-conscious about my A cups...and after I get down to the size I want (I want to also wear size 2, but be lean at 12% body fat) I will consider going bigger. I don't want anything huge. Just something to look feminine instead of flat like a pancake...

With weight loss there go the boobs...they are always the first to go! They were the only only only thing I liked about gaining weight. But, hey, I would rather be at a healthy weight and flat chested any day. I've never had a desire to get breast implants. I've always been happy with what I've had in that department!

i lost mine along with my weight, so I am probably going to go fake some day! As long as they are perky!

Terrified that when I drop weight they will go as well. I don't mind it as long as they do not go altogether.

This could be...not like I have people volunteering to show me a set that have properly 'dropped' on a day to day basis lol.

I think a lot of people have this notion in their heads that augmentation means giant porn-boobs that look like wobbly muppet eyes. Most folks aren't looking to be Pam Anderson or Heidi Montag. They just want to look like they used to.

I've felt a friend's. As far as I can tell, they felt real. But to be honest, the only other boobs I've touched were mine. And they felt like mine, just bigger. So if hers feel fake, then so do mine!
