I work 12 hour shifts 3 days a week so on those days I eat dinner at home around 10 when I get home. So my plan will be to not eat past 9 on my off days and after dinner on my work days. I know 9 seems kinda late but I usually try to fast on my off days until at least noon or 1:00. thanks for starting this challenge! Wish you all the best of luck and May the 4th be with you!!!
May the 4th be with you as well ; )3 -
OMG. I so need to stop snacking after I have dinner. I don't want to have tea or water because then I will have to wake up and go to the bathroom. I will be mindful and not have any snacks in my room or go to the kitchen after I have gone upstairs to bed. Its a struggle. But at least I am not alone.
Definitely not alone. Welcome3 -

Ok, I think this is a great challenge, but here's my problem. I work a swing shift 3:30 pm to midnight. We generally go to bed around 4-4:30 am. I eat breakfast around 1:30-2 pm and take all the rest of my food with me to work. I drive 1 hr each way. I get home at 1am and have to cook dinner for my disabled husband. When I do that, it's hard not to eat the same time he does. So recently I have started waiting to eat my dinner until he eats, and then I usually have my LNS after that (I try to stick with 100 calories or less). Which means I stop eating (MAYBE) around 2-230 am, about 2 hrs before I go to bed. If I eat dinner at work, then I have my LNS when he eats dinner, but then I usually end up eating more calories for the LNS. So, anybody have an idea where I should tweak, since I have to cook a meal so late at night?

**and no, I rarely get to bed before 4:30 am because of DH's medication schedule. Sometimes, it's as late as 5:30 if he's not feeling well.2 -

Wow! Bless you and your DH's heart. You carry a huge load for your household.
For this challenge, though, everyone sets their own goals. For the routine described above, maybe you decide "no LNS after 2am." Uninformed bystanders may not see that as a hard goal, without knowing your schedule. The fact is, HERE we just want to challenge and encourage. We don't judge participants for the goals they set. Frankly, you don't have to publish your cutoff time if you're concerned about people's opinions. Just post your wins/losses.
Welcome aboard! Be encouraged. (Isaiah 40:28-29)3 -
