@gam3rguy I am totes jealous of your fire jumping. Maybe someday I can do something like that.

Today I conquered the dreaded c25k week 5 day 3. That's 20 consecutive minutes of running. I thought I would have trouble, but I actually killed it and came back for more. I'm getting closer to being a real runner!

HIIT it today. 2 rounds of 50 squats,10 burpees, 40 sit ups, 10 burpees, 30 lunges, 10 burpees, 20 DB snatches, 10 burpees, 10 bear crawls.
    Challenging.
@RespectTheKitty - You BECAME a runner the day you started running! Don't sell yourself short. When someone asks you what you do for exercise be sure to let them know you are a runner!
Smoky skies today from the fires in Fort MacMurray. Smokey smell and the sky has an orange tint to it. They have evacuated 90,000 people. I am grateful to have woken up in my own home this morning.

Chest and triceps then a 40 minute run on the mill watching Wednesday's episode of Survivor- my secret obsession.

Does anyone else find tricep push-ups extremely difficult? I have to (gulp) do them on my knees and then I can barely squeak out 12 per set.

they're easier if you turn your fingers slightly out & keep your upper arms squeezed to your lats.

Thanks @gam3rguy. Makes sense- takes some weight off of those teeny tiny triceps of mine.

Pre mom day brunch workout- Back and biceps. Planning a run later on. Was hoping for outside but there are gale force winds. I am a very fair-weather outdoor runner.

I had a scary end to my week. :(

I will post later....but, I have a tumor on my right ovary. 8 cm (size of an orange).

Maybe this explains the bizarre string of symptoms. ... Anyway, hope it is not cancer. :(

Several dr's appts, this week. An MRI is the next step.

    :(

i am still lifting. :) BOOM!

@Beeps2011 , hugs and well wishes your way. There's a very good chance it's a cyst, they're common and can have a lot of effects on your health, but are relatively easy to be dealt with. I just went through bloodwork and u/s a few months ago for worries as I had a cyst before, but it went away. Seems to be a trend, a friend at work just had surgery to remove a large cyst and another (the same week) who has had the surgery before ended up off a couple of days sick as she had a cyst rupture. Keep lifting and stay strong!

I actually tried hot yoga today. I like it, I'm not good at it, and I look like I stood in a downpour (only not smelling as good), but I like it. I'm hoping this will help some of the (becoming) chronic pain in my shoulders and hip flexers. A lifetime of sitting at a desk and only so much kettlebells and kickboxing can do. Though I could have concentrated better if the girl beside me wasn't a size 0 with not even any rolls when doing a fold (yes you could see as she was very cute and fashionable in her sports bra and capri leggings). Oh well, at least I didn't fall over or faint.

Hard to maintain calories and exercise this weekend. Working a major national chess championship. Long hours and difficult to get enough rest. But the event went well and I didn't go nuts on eating.
