My pants fell down walking up the stairs at work, I was embarrassed, but at the same time happy that they are now loose enough to do that.17

1.I'm having trouble keeping my pants up at work today. Time to move down a size
2. Last week, we went to Las Vegas and walked miles. Also went for a great, pretty challenging hike at Red Rock Canyon and I didn't feel like I was going to die in the middle of the hike.14 -
Really love reading this thread every day!!

today I finally did my overhead press with the olympic barbell! which means I now do my whole workout with it, every time. super stoked14

After spin class today, my instructor came up to me worried that she was BORING me!
Just shows that I have been going to Spin for so long that she is worrying that she isn't changing up things enough for ME!
It's a moot point because I love her classes (Otherwise I wouldn't go) but to be in a position where an instructor knows I go to her classes every week and worries that the routine isn't good enough for me is amazing.17 -
Took some progress pictures this morning and I'm finally starting to feel happy with how my body looks!12

Every year I plant a vegetable garden and every year I dread starting it because it is a lot of work cleaning it out from last year, pulling the spring weeds, and lugging bags of dirt. Every year I hurt during and after. This year it didn't hurt at all!! All the working out I have done made all the manual work a breeze! I loved it so much I even started a flower garden for my daughter!24

It IS great, isn't it? Doesn't matter if the victory is large or small, they're all wonderful!8 -
For the second time this week (Tues & Thurs) I jogged for 60mins straight. Now I know I'm not a one trick pony. Slow and steady.
I officially need new clothes! All my "small" UK12 (US8) clothes are big for me now. Seems like only last month I got them out from vac bags and started wearing them again. Funny the scale hasn't moved much but going by my shrinking stomach, I am definitely getting smaller. My stomach is actually shrinking!!! Never thought I'd see the day!26 -
This is sorta related to the scale, but…
As of today, hubby and I are down a combined total of 100 lbs since we started this journey in January. The scale victory is obvious, but the NSV is that we are getting healthier as a family.

I bought a size medium, dress - holy cow!!16

Started week 5 of C25K with no problems even though I was sick.
Totally scale related - while at the doctor's because of said sickness, my new weight triggered a "loss of over 10% since last visit" warning on the doctor's computer. It's cool, doc. It was on purpose.20 -
So I've successfully lost 90+ lbs now by counting calories in the last 18 months. I went to the doctor last week for a checkup and had to report that I'm blacking out when I stand from laying, a problem I haven't had since the last time I was under 180 lbs (when I was 22!)
My resting bp runs around 100/65 now, down from about 120/78 at my heaviest. My pulse is in the low 40s, down from the low 70s.
My doctor told me that these were fantastic numbers, which I knew. But his advice made me laugh. "Eat more salt".
I average around the RDA of salt over any week. Apparently I'm now light enough, and active enough that is not enough for me. And that, I feel, is a big NSV!27 -

I hit "awesome" already but I feel compelled to comment further. Those are some incredifreakable numbers! Nicely done.

My husband told me he hasn't heard me snore at all in two weeks. He's wrong of course, I would never snore. But if I did and had stopped it would be a great sign of improved health!47

@goldthistime Thank you!2

I've been light headed from low blood pressure too...guess this forum helps. Will see what more salt does for me. 86 Lbs. ago they were thinking I was about ready for med for high blood pressure.10

I am able to change the water tank in the office water cooler without needing any help.12

He also suggested deliberately tightening my muscles before I rise, to stop the pooling of blood in the lower extremities. It seems to be helping.

Down another belt notch. That's three notches since starting in March. My problem part is mostly tummy so I'm pleased to see this tho the scale doesn't show it yet.14

Two for me - on Saturday I ran a 1:33:25 half marathon and on Monday I deadlifted 315lbs for three sets of five. Hit a set of five on Wednesday for 320lbs. Both PRs for me.22

Ha ha ha. Thanks for the chuckle.5 -
knowing I had a busy evening I snuck a walk in at lunch.. And yoga after work.
and a friend out tonight asked the secret of my weightloss. I told her the truth-calories in are less than calories out.
It helped that my size 12 dress is very flattering!14 -

I used to see mine as watermelons. lol11 -
Gone down a size in underwear comfortably!13

I've been on vacation all week, so I haven't hit the gym once. Instead, I've gotten up at sunrise and done my C25K on the beach! Couldn't be more proud of myself for my determination.31

I did a ten minute mile this morning. Maybe that's not so good for most people, but I haven't worked up to running 2 miles straight yet...so ten minutes for me is my best!28

I had to buy slacks a size smaller last week. Someone at work mentioned to me yesterday that they can tell that I'm losing weight.12

Did not touch one cookie, baked good, or treat during a conference that I attended the past 2 days. They were in abundance so it was difficult.
Additionally, breakfast and lunch as well as a social with drinks and passed hors d'oeuvres as well as all types of cheese. I made sure I had a small healthy breakfast at home and ate the fresh fruit provided in the morning. For lunch, asked for and received a healthier option, skipped dessert.
The social was hard but I only had one light calorie drink and crudites.
On top of that, had dinner with friends both evenings after the conference and stayed within my calorie goal and maintenance on both days.
One more day to go!29
