I'll be back at it tomorrow, I took a rest day because I had overworked my knee. I woke up at 3am with it throbbing and couldn't get my left knee comfortable. Sorry I know I'll regret it and I'll beat myself over it.

Even top athletes need rest days. Don't beat yourself up over it. Just do what you can, and if you need to rest it, rest it. Not worth making the injury worse by overdoing it. You are in this for the long haul.

I am probably resting tomorrow due to my back (we'll see how it is in the morning). I have a race on Sunday and really wanted to get a paddle in today, but wasn't going to push it and make it worse, so took it easy and did some no-impact cardio for a few minutes instead of my usual longer workouts.

Question - As part of my commute, instead of driving or taking a bus, I walk 2 miles a day. Does that count for this challenge? It is usually a relatively fast pace as I am almost always close to missing my train.

I'd say it's up to you! If you feel like you want to count it, then do! I do some exercise with my kids that I don't count as it is just too slow for my liking. But there are others who say count it.... The challenge is just meant to get you moving.
